I knew people in martial arts who used to skate. They learned balance from it. Impressive.

Forget Tas and Hawk. Hosoi was the one. He went silently, under the radar for 5 years while the X Games happened. I can't even imagine what 1999 must have been like for him

I always thought Ben Pappas was better than Tas'. His flip tricking 360 airs that I don't even know what they're named, so sick to see him do those tricks. R.i.p sad ending

I know...had Holmes stayed off meth he would have probably got all of Hawk's glory.. he was better than Hawk back then IMO...

My first pro board was a Monty Nolder by Schmitt Stix, in 1987. What a surprise to see this in my random feed!

What he did was beyond awful. He was granted parole at the beginning of December. Whether that means he's actually getting out is still up in the air because they have 120 days to finalise the decision and the governor can overturn it. Jessica Bergsten's family is obvioulsy not happy.

they all had over-the-top egos. Especially Hosoi. But to be on top one has to really believe in themselves

Fabiano, IMO this is in house music. Vision needed music for the background/intro and didn't want to pay $$$ for it. So they had a musician employee/friend write something and payed them a small flat fee. What's crazy is you're not the only person to ask this question. I love the fact that out there is some guy that wrote this and has no idea how many people love it (he was just making intro music on a 4-track).

!! This is a amazing history. Thank you very much. But I found a video that informs that the theme song (Chicago Blow-Out 1986) is from the band Paradox! You can see this in: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mHpkppmdiq_Skbg.html in 3'45.. tks again!
