They said he wanted a percentage of the team, he didn't want to go to Chicago, he wanted to go to Washington, he was a bad guy, his teammates hated him, he just wanted to paint his nails, his Dad was part of the pick..it was a combo package, Chicago would destroy his career. We heard it all...seems like people were scared and trying to keep him from going to da Bears. He is none of the above..he's the opposite...crazy media.

The first time in a long time the bears are fun to watch, and for the first time ever they’re here to stay.

I’m very pleased with the outlook and these two have been well informed in their positive assessment throughout the off season. I like hearing from both of them. Kudos to their informed opinions. Another pod i tried to listen to, joking that Bagent is not a suitable backup. I get their somewhat misinformed projection but i stop listening at that moment. That’s the simple difference sometimes.

Def waiting for the bottom to drop out after about 5 decades of dysfunctional ownership and a golden goose fan base. It’s like an abusive relationship at this point. Sell the team!!

Although currently a MN resident for 30 years I am a WI boy and long time diehard Packer fan beginning with St. Vincent Thomas Lombardi and yet I love the Viqweens. It is so much fun watching their fans ALWAYS crying after EVERY loss due to the refs either making bad calls, failing to make calls or both. And who can forget the Viqweens’ 0-4 Super Bowl record of losses! Even their absolutely greatest coach, Bud Grant, was from and continued to live in Superior, WI throughout his 94 years of life. They proclaimed their ‘best ever quarterback’ in Brett Favre who was only such due to playing with the Packers. Even their pussyfooted Metro-Breast stadium collapsed upon itself due to snow load. And we Green & Gold beat the shit out of those purple pussies more than they do us. Yep, love ém. Geaux Vikes.

Since you pooped on the Bears receiving core let me tell you what we have DJ Moore over 1200 yards gained Keenan Allen over 1200 yards Rome Odunze over 1600 yards last season in college ( I know rookie) Cole Kmet over 700 yards Swift RB over 500 yards receiving. And we have plenty of depth pieces at receivers and TE2 and RB. So I feel that we have plenty of talent on offense, actually the most I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. Now it’s all on paper, but I think it will translate to the field. Now Detroit we beat once and everyone knows we had them twice, we lost our double digit lead in the last 4 minutes. (Qb errors) we beat your Vikings, but you had no qb, (neither did we). Packers we’ll be able to beat at least once. Since we were last in our division we’ll have the weakest schedule. So I don’t think that I’m delusional actually everything I wrote is quite realistic. If you think JJ is as good of a passer as Caleb is we won’t see eye to eye. I saw JJ’s combine, it was pedestrian!

Targeted Lamar last season too when he’s a demigod in his city and always shows love and gives back. It’s so annoying to watch

I can't lie I was one who was so hurt and very shocked the Bears traded Fields but I can't lie Caleb has won me over fully. I am definitely on board fully for Caleb; I am still a little apprehensive on the Bears because we are the Bears but I really like Caleb and I can see him becoming a great QB or the top 3 QB in the league in the next 3 - 5 years. That kind of work ethic with the talent on tape I honestly do not see how he can possibly fail outside of any injuries. I still DO NOT trust Eberlose that is our weak link hopefully after this season we can find a new HC who can take us to the promise land. Sean McVay can definitely change the course of the Bears if we can get him away from the Rams.

There's an equally compelling argument against fighting aging. Why accept getting old, fat, out of shape? Also easy to tell people not to dye their grays when you only have a few in your 50s, lol. I started getting them in my mid-30s. I have friends who went bald in their 20s. If you can make a change and it makes you feel better, do it. That's not running from who you are. You're not your gray hair, lol.

Trevor Lawrence had a way better college career than Caleb and we heard the same hype. He has so far been a solid NFL starter. Can we please let this kid play some games before anointing him the next Manning. BTW Manning sucked as a rookie. Im not a Bears fan but this hype is nauseating. Can he play at least one preseason game before drooling over his talent.
