Yes it’s true. The old batch has both its sidea black / dark hue while the current one has clear sides with black ‘straw’. One of the best fragrances that I enjoy wearing again and again.

Been using it since 2008 and has never miss in my collection. I live in the hot weather environment and it does all the magic. Used to enjoy 212 man before reformulation, thank God this hasn't been reformulated. An absolute gem.

Great review - this is mix of original Herrera from 1991 + 212 + some tonka and cinnamon , super scent, elegant , simple but sophisticated at the same time, already a classic for me.

Joy can you make a review on Dior Homme Parfum and CH MEN Prive? Actually I ve bought DHP and next in line is CH Men Prive. Always used to ignore this CHIC fragrance cauz its not talked abt community...but I m gonna give it a shot...just a little out of budget after purchasing DHP and Dunhill Icon!

This is a good pick, here in the U.S I got my bottle for 37$ definitely a must try. This lasts 8hrs if you spray heavy. That's the beauty tho, it smells good am you won't offend anyone.

No, for me CH men is near skin scents maybe due to reformulation which also Chic for men also lost it's original top note.

Talking about victoria secret bombshell, have you tried VS bombshell oud?

Damn u Joy.... ur bringing out all the big guns and making it harder for me to maintain a level of control with my purchasing. If you bring out a review in Dylan Blue that's it!!! I'm losing control, lol. By far urself and Gents Scents are the top reviweres in my opinion

Excellent review! As for this Chic for Men...well, I purchased a bottle back in July 2014 and was disappointed. It's not a bad fragrance, but it's too chicly, for lack of a better term, and just not a fragrance I enjoy wearing. Sorry, but Chic for Men along and Refreshing Ginger are fragrances that I regret buying from Carolina Herrera.

Brother I'm looking for some all time good Summer Signature Scent worthy Freshies and these are in my list. Kindly, suggest do i need them all or a few will serve the same purpose. Bvlgari Aqva Marine Bvlgary Aqva Atlantique Paco Rabbane Pour Homme Dunhill Icon Polo Blue Cartier Declaration ADG Original or Essenza Your suggestion will really be appreciated and please let me know as a regular user and also as a fragrance enthusiast how many should i be owning per season keeping our Sub continent climate in mind. Though I'm more of a Winter fragrance fan myself.

The syntheticness is on par with CH Men. It even shares that sour note with CH Men. I have a sample but I'm not thrilled. It is a decent scent, though. If you wanna know how this smells, try to find Taft Carbon Hair Paste. It's the same smell.

This one beats CH Men in compliments! I have two 100ml of this juice. Inexpensive too. Works for me because no one else wears it.

oh wow....i can def see the similarity esp the grassy backbone..and sweetness.both are lady killer frags tbh...love both...but this is exceptionally good...im glad no one smells like me in my area lol

much better than lhomme to my nose.lhomme is gone after 30 mins..this stuff last man, and that watermelon..so exotic

i like this fragrance but i am a sporty man ,seem that this is not for me,a need something casual for summer .In sport wear i would look stupid

this fragrance still available, i just got my bottle and the batch production is 2020. surprisingly the performance still good enough, may not project like old batch but the longevity still very good, easily 6-8 hours, sillage is detectable for first or two hour.
