Chevy MONZA Drag Car? Never went straight? We can fix that!

Here's something you don't see every day, a 1975 Chevy Monza drag car! This thing isn't anywhere near a "stock" car, but in race car trim it's definitely got to be a blast. Unfortunately for the customer/driver this thing never seemed to go straight, well we happen to know some guys who can fix that! Custom suspension setup? Custom alignment? Race Car Alignment? We can do that! Let's get to work!

Say rich, you should do an episode of your alignments on the race cars you’ve done, feedback…..

Cool looking car. Over here in Australia the American Speedway test team brought out 4 Monza's to race (can't remember the year) . They were always big crowd pullers on our 1/4 mile bullring paved speedways back then and America V Australia were always a close run and fairly equal affairs. One of our motorsport legends, Allan Moffat raced a Dekon Monza in the mid 70's Sports Sedan series. It was an absolute weapon. Halcyon days.....

It's the learning channel , every time I watch. Hope Pac Man watches cause much more than just alignment . So modest explaining that I hope he watches to understand. 👍

I love Monza's especially DKON Monza's. It is amazing to me that when people change the alignments and suspension parts from factory not realizing they all have to work together and then wonder why their trick parts do not work as advertised.

Nice ride Could use frame connector along the pinch welds. Definitely makes it easier to lift the side up

I used to have a Vega that we ran midwest chassis uppers and lowers on the front that are made to have s10 balljoints and used the s10 spindle for the 5 lug swap and bigger brakes. Ran their rear uppers and lowers too. Made a world of difference just doing that.

NICE! My uncle had a 4 eye hatch 1/8 mile car. Purple with (that yellow) stripe that started narrow on the front door and widened back over the arches. Pretty car, only ran like 6.7's - still very cool! He ran over at Bunker Hill in Indiana a lot, sometimes Muncie. Now my cousin has the car, but had a tire blow and sent him into the wall. Hasn't raced since 😢 But I remember them having to set the firewall back substantially to get things to fit and be somewhat balanced.

Great video guys, not to be overly critical but at 6:32 is that a crack in the frame of the lower right side rear control arm attachment?

Ahh I can answer that. It seems to be a v8. Probably a small block Chevrolet. And not factory fresh.
