I have this same problem with my 2017 Chevy Camaro. All the research I'm doing seems to point to a park sensor under the shifter. Short-term though, I am going to try that out and let you know.

Are u bending down the blue sensor or the silver clip

Hey bro I noe its been a while since you made the video what if it says shift to park but then goes away is my electrical going to stay on ....or does it only stay on when the shift to park dosent go away?

Try pressing the button you need to press to switch gears twice quickly, it’s always worked for me

@PeterAyala I was just scrolling through to see if maybe the gear shift on a 2013 Malibu could be changed to one of those custom gear shifts you find in a auto parts store. Thank you so much for responding.😊

It's not a sensor. It's a micro switch.
