My piece is stripped completely that moves seat up and down every switch but main one is dead

Everything worked on mine but being able to lift the seat back up like yours. As soon as I popped everything off it all stopped working. I even plugged a whole new piece in and still nothing. Any suggestions?

How do you remove tht side cover it won’t come off for me. (Seat won’t recline at all, all other functions work)

Lol don’t worry . Just becareful not to touch any metal tools up against any expose wires . No need to disconnect the car battery . The power is coming from the bottom of the switch. You can unplug it, but I suggest just keep it plugged in, so you can see which buttons are Trippin. Keep going !

The head of the screw is has a hexagonal 6 sided shape . The drill tip should look the same

I ran into this too, their technical name is a Torx Bit. They come in sizes like T25, T30, T35, etc. My 2013 Malibu was a T40 bit.

Check the fuse ! . Also make sure that connector is plugged in tight

@3:48 do you see the gray plastic part with the black button in the middle . It’s below my thumb . Pull the gray part down and push black button and pull it away from the controller
