I put LED headlights in all my cars, but what's the absolute most important, is that they're aligned correctly within the housing. Ideally the LEDs should face the 3 and 9 O'clock positions to best imitate the original halogen bulb, but some tweaking might be necessary.

Hi RazoE! yeah exactly! that is a really good reminder, it definitely helps with the beam pattern..

Nice video! I see that the high beams actually include a small fan for cooling. I'm not sure I like the 6500k temp though. I have not checked your other reviews, but it would be interesting to see what other brands have to offer. Heat is apparently the enemy here... Halogens also get very hot. And yes, the beam pattern of the LED is directly related to the placement and direction they are pointed. I'm not sure there's much control over that aspect if the unit has to be locked-in a specific way. Halogens have 360deg light disbursement, LED's are different. And lastly.... They don't make cars so easy to work on anymore! I have an older Buick (2001) and these may be great for it when replacement time comes. Thanks for your reviews! 👍

Thanks John! ah yes heat is the main enemy of LED bulbs, check out the other LED bulb reviews in my channel under the playlist "LED Lighting" I have reviews for both fan-less LED kits and kits with fans, also some don't have much adjustment since the collar is locked in place but some do have a rotating collar to fine tune the beam. Hi Frederick! I used two different brands because I had some spare light bulbs around, however you can definitely use the same brand for both as long they physically fit (most brands carry both sizes, I placed links to each in the video description which you can also use to confirm the size) Regarding your second question, some people upgrade their low beams only, some upgrade their high beams only and some upgrade both, so I think it's most a matter of preference and if you want to spread the cost over time by upgrading one set a time. I have a 07 impala LTZ, will I have to rewire the front for led ? I’m making this comment cause I got a few mins at work and I can’t sit through the video.

Hi Mystic Tk! Correct, the LED headlights are drop in replacements for the halogen bulbs (same connector no need to rewire) as long as you order the correct bulb size (refer to your owners manual or the bulb on your car, they have their size printed on them) and I put the link to the bulbs in the video description.
