Ball joints bud. When the whole hub moves, that’s ball joints
What am I listening or looking for all I see is a flat tire and someone’s foot sliding on dirty floor 😂😂😂😂😂

U joints in the cv axle clunking 😁
That's your ball joint
Lol, man. I was hoping some of you would be curious enough to check the description, see a link to the whole cv axle replacement and watch it before making an assumption on what it is or isn't. I can tell ya though it definitely was not a wheel bearing. Good guess though based on this short clip! Thanks for watching 🍻

I tagged u in my video can you please help
U must also check the inner cv in there's no movement
The upper control arm bushings looked like they were moving in and out.
Definitely some play in the lower and top ball joints
Wheel bearing
Upper ball joint
My car makes that noise when i turn the steering wheel in park or if the car is stationary at a stop. But when driving no noise.
Upper controller arm bearings shot.

You are 100% correct. You can see the play in the grease fitting. He or she better replace it or risked breaking it, blowing out their tire and running off the road. My GF had that happen when she borrowed my truck one Saturday morning. The replacement control arm was in the back seat as I was sleeping in and she went out for coffee early in my truck. What a mess. She’s lucky to be alive.
Looks like wheel bearing
Definitely not a hub/bearing, these people are crazy. The wheel would wobble and look like the lug nuts weren’t tight. Pretty typical on GM’s. Must be some euro owners
I think it was the tie rod
I am thinking mine is doing the same thing. It started making a clunking noise, and somewhat felt like it was dragging almost. You think it's the CV axle? Someone told me it could possibly be the front differential too? I am no mechanic, but mechanically inclined enough to be a MECK-ANN-ICK! 😂 I was going to jack it up and check it soon. It's parked while I drive my other truck.

Mine was the cv axle. As soon as removed it the joints fell apart! The boots were ruined and all sorts of mud and gunk got in there. Plus I take this thing on old ass logging roads so it was only a matter of time.
The diferencial
Ball joints
That's not the CV Axle making that bumping noise.
Upper Control arm and wheel bearing.. cv boot looks good not leaking grease and same as ball joint.. i need my cv joint replaced as going down the road it shakes.. i thought on my car it was flex disks and carrier bearing but turns out cv joint can make it shake too.. plus mine had grease coming out the boot.. im lucky to be home as it made it home and next day i tried to drive and it shakes which it popped 3 pops but doesnt pop much on mine it shakes the car alot though snd makes a metal to metal bearing noise. I pray its cv joint and not wheel bearing.. mechanic said seems like its the cv joint when he drove it and listened to it. Praying its fixed Friday or Saturday
I have a gmc 2002 yukon making a clunking noise from the c/v shaft. When I driving the road. Would it be my c/v?

Thank you for the question! I'd check your cv axle, tie rods and ball joints. As you probably know you'll want to diagnose and fix it pretty quick. Once it starts clunking it's only a matter of time before its breaks.

@Kooshdaakaa Garage the c/v shaft had no play. But in between the rotor and hub assembly had grease. I assume the hub assembly went bad. I replaced it last summer. Must be a bad bearing.

@@viccarr8277 ah man, a new bearing went out that fast? That is frustrating considering how long that should have lasted for you. Luckily the bearings are relatively easy to swap out. Was the axle nut torqued to the right spec/ugga duggas? I'm wondering if it was too tight or not tight enough when it was installed or if it was just a bunk bearing.

@Kooshdaakaa Garage I torque it to the specs. I think it was junk. I have never had this happen before. I have bought at least 3 sets before.

@@viccarr8277 ah that sucks man. I hate it when you take the time to buy a new part, install it then find out its a dud so you gotta remove it, return it, get a replacement, hope its not a crappy part like the last one then do a hail mary before doing the job hopefully for the last time for a while. That's what cold snacks are for I suppose!
good video.. can my issue be my cv axle ? can this sound be my lower control arm bushing ? sound is coming from my front wheel passenger side. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iHeOz8hwk8_YeMo.html
