Chevy Camaro ZL1 Review: So FAST It’s ILLEGAL | 4K
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is so hardcore, it's banned in Europe and in parts of America. Rory takes one on a UK track to find out why, and to assess whether it's deserving of its fearsome reputation. Come listen to its awesome 6.2-litre supercharged V8 and make your own mind up!

As someone who has watched hundreds (or even thousands) of car review videos from professionals, I have to tip my hat to you. Excellent content, editing, and you were completely real and honest during the in-car driving. Bonus: car reviews almost always sound better with a British accent. 🇬🇧 👌😎 You even taught me a few tidbits the American journalists don’t usually mention. Thank you to all who were involved in this video, please keep up the great content.

It's literally mind blowing how US muscle cars have evolved, just to think it wasn't that long ago my TransAm would go ok-ish in a straight line but stopping and going around a series of bends down a twisty road was literally a handful and today they seem to be doing everything very well. @@garyharrington3240 Tesla cars aren't "blowing away" anything. They're slightly faster in the 1/4 mile than stock pony cars. A simple nitrous setup and they lose that advantage completely. On a twisty track the Tesla will lose to a stock Mustang GT. And finally, no one turns their head to watch a Tesla go by because no one heard it or even cares. But all the heads turn when my 2018 murdered out Mustang GT goes by literally screaming with its Corsa Extreme exhaust. That's the fun factor Tesla just doesn't have.

The current trio are definitely on par with the greatest trio of Clarkson, Hammond, and May as far as humour goes. I found all of the hosts in between extremely boring for one reason. Top Gear is a show about cars, but from Clarkson's own definition, Top Gear is an entertainment show, it doesn't have to state fact or fiction, it's sole purpose is to create an entertaining show for the audience. The new trio lack significantly in car review content, primarily because they don't really know much about them. But neither did the classic trio at first. The worst eras consisted of F1 team owners, American hosts, and others who knew more about cars than comedy. Rory for me fits into this category. He's a great car show host, but not a great Top Gear host.

Absolutly Agree in regards to enjoying these Magnificent Monsters while you can. Over here in Oz we had the Holden Commodore & HSV Power House local manufactured muscle cars running 6 or 6.2litre chev and supercharged Factory options. Also FORD Falcon. Most of the local car magazines who kept comparing these cars to BMW, MERCS AND High End performance cars and bagged the local product. Most cases the local Muscle gave these high end cars a run for their money at less than half their cost. With the bagging obviously sales fell and the cars went out of production. Now these Idiot Car Magazines are saying If only we still had the HOLDEN COMMODORE & FORD FALCON here in Oz. So I see the Chev Camaro getting bagged for visibility and sales dropping to the point of Extinction. Let me warn you guys, IT WILL BE A SAD DAY FOR ALL WHEN THEY DISAPPEAR. SO ENJOY BIG TIME WHAT YOU HAVE GUYS. CAMARO, MUSTANG & DODGE, Don't Rubbish any of them. Remember, next in line of sales will be bloody EV only available. THEN YOU CAN BE SAD.

Old/ current american business think, beat the competition in cost and try to keep all the features and tech and such. More power more space more whatever, excess at bargain prices. Manufacture at volume keep costs down and cut costs where you can get away with it. Dont get too cheap with the cheap stuff or people will complain of course. There is also chicken tax stuff which can also cause this artificially. Pretty harmful because of what a lack of competition causes but I dont believe that relates to the camero and such currently.

@@romulus_ California is fucking broke. Fuck California.
That car is driving confidence booster and a corner slayer !! which makes it VERY fun how ever that comes at a cost of a HUGE amount of stiffness , like you would increase your visits to the chiropractor if you daily drive lol
This put a smiles on us face!!
Goat review as usual 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

My son has a Crush Orange 2SS 1LE and it's pretty bad ass. That ZL1 must be mind bending. Love it!
His reviews are UNDERRATED.
Love the fact that this Camaro could go toe to toe with any supercar in the world

Not really. The price, absolutely makes up for it though. But Nurburgring times: ZL1 1LE - 7:16:04 Ferrari 488 Pista - 7:00:03 Porsche GT2 RS - 6:43:30

@@tinyrodent2821 I was referring more towards road super cars. Those two cars are as close to track cars as you can get. The zl1 had a faster time around Laguna Seca than a McLaren 570s. That’s what impressed me.

Forged in the fires of Mordor. If Sauron had a car, this would be it.
That wheel spec is absolutely stunning.
My neighbor has a 19 ZL1 wakes me up every morning just about and I love it
