Looks like a lot of fun. Careful in your swap... looks like it took a little sip of water as you were struggling to get out on the far side. Fender flares will help keep you from filling the box (and therefore the air cleaner) full of water, but you may want to invest in a snorkel and somehow keep that dizzy dry.

Wow thats the cool thing I've seen in a long time. I want that so bad. The first time that I've ever hit 150mph was in 1997. It was a chevy custom deluxe with a 350 in it. The owner was a mechanic and he said the truck made a little over 500hp. That truck ran 10s in the 90s. It was scary fast. But ya the chevy 350 is one of the most iconic engines ever produced. It can make a huge amount of power

I’ve never said that’s a cool death trap. I have an original Mue 550 and it’s sketchy for the passenger wide open because they don’t have anything to hold on to and you’re sitting on a slick school bus seat. No way you can get all of a 350ci Mue. Burnout straight line stuff maybe. Pulling stumps on the farm for fun. Pull that seat belt up , you’re gonna need it later.

Got all the parts to build one myself, real tempting now lol

That thing is Killer! but watch the tooth pick axle's in those samurai diff's. The mini Birfields in the front are very susceptible to exploding when loaded down in reverse and turned. there are lot's of Chromo shaft's available if they haven't been done.

@@rustedratchetgarage6788 but probably with the stock 1.3L . tree.50 torque is about 8x that lol .Even with 22re swaps they snap the stock axles like twigs. he Chromo Birfs hold up rather well though.

Yep especially if ya cant drive worth a shit or feel the shift. My kids have driven it no issue. Put a drunk dumbass on it and theyll learn better

Carefully remove the Edelbrock carb, gently walk outside and heave that POS into the pond. Slap a Holley EFI system on it and dont look back. That thing has tons of potential and would have to be a grin to drive. I highly suggest 2 good sets of harnesses and if it was me, racing seats and some cage work. Have fun, stay safe and ROCK ON 🤘🏻😝

@@catsbyondrepair fuel injection makes carburetors look like caveman technology. You can run injection upside down, if you lean a carb too far, you either starve or flood the engine. Carbs are highly subject to atmospheric conditions, fuel injection doesnt care what the density altitude is, the fuel will still atomize. Injection sucks is no argument. Carbs suck, end of story

@@andyfrancis5277 carbs are the best and most reliable fuel delivery system. That's why airplanes still use them they never give trouble .fuel injection engine always running to Rich have to change o2 sensors every year. Stuck injectors computer failure. Fuel injection is unreliable garbage.

I dont. We did oil. Then checked trans fluid before we fired it incase. Then again after on flat ground w motor hot and running

The first time you try to do a burnout on concrete or in sticky mud the rear end if not all four axles are going to snap on that thing. The first mod you need to do is upgrade those axles to some dana 30s or something!
