Ace did say it was a 19 second scream, but it is a 17 second scream. It is still impressive either way.

He was definitely one of a kind
“Just give it a second” 😂😂
It’s not just the length of the scream… It’s the pitch change half way through then at the end immediately goes back into clean vocals… all without showing any signs of real stress!!! Not many can do that

Chester is a man that saved millions through his music but, unfortunately the millions couldn't save him. 😭 R.I.P. Chester. I hope all of your pain is gone and your demons have been laid to rest.
I am in awe of his talent but this song makes me cry for him everytime .
Kathy’s facial expression said it all.

Love this Reaction! Priceless when Kathy heard the 17 sec scream!!! Sending love from Denver!!! Fly High and Rest Easy Chester we miss and love you!
I can't even speak direct 19 seconds straight with one breath 😂 man he was talent 🥺❤️ Love you CB
Still hits hard RIP Chester no more hurting.
The look on Kathy's face was priceless 😂 Chester's work with Stone Temple Pilots was killer also and it's crazy to think that Chester replaced Scott Weiland in STP, but left the band in November 2015 to focus 100% on Linkin Park, and Scott died of an overdose just one month later in December of 2015. RIP to Chester and Scott 🙏✌️

Yeah some of the songs were really good. I thought Scott had passed away earlier than that and that's why Chester joined the band

@@KathyLuluandDonna Scott was with STP from 1989 to 2003 when the band broke up, he then went to Velvet Revolver from 2003 to 2008, got fired from that band, and rejoined STP when it reformed and then got fired by STP in 2013. He was part of Art of Anarchy from 2013 until his death in 2015. ✌️
Kathy might like Chester's cover of Adele's song Rolling in the Deep from 2011. It shows the other side of Chester's vocal range.

I laughed so hard at that reaction during the infamous Chester scream.
He said 19 seconds. It's actually a 17-second scream I checked, lol
Mike Shinoda has Fort Minor and his album Post Traumatic. Post Traumatic is his journey of dealing with Chester's death and deciding if he wants to do music again. There is also the other bands that Chester was in. The first band was Grey Daze and the other band was Dead by Sunrise. Dead by Sunrise was Chester's side project just like Fort Minor was Mike's side project. Chester was in Gray Daze before Linkin Park. Gray Daze was the band he was in in high school. Chester was also part owner in the Tattoo Company Club Tattoo.

Chester was also briefly part of Stone Temple Pilots. Grey Daze also released some older material after Chester's passing if I remember right
@sadiekincaid5310
Жыл бұрын
@@KathyLuluandDonna Gray Daze did as a tribute 1 year after his death is when they started working on it with his oldest son Jamie. Chester was with Stone Temple Pilots for about a year but then he left to focus on Linkin Park and to spend more time with his kids. When Chester did Stone Temple Pilots he had six kids at the time.
@KathyLuluandDonna

@@sadiekincaid5310 it's possible he just took on too much at that time, coming off Dead by Sunrise a couple of years before and us not knowing if we were going to get a follow up or not. Also a shame Fort Minor never started up again. Mike also put 3 albums together on Twitch which was a fun experience

If you want to hear a different take on Chester's voice listen to the song system from the Queen of the Damned soundtrack. Jonathan Davis actually wrote the song but his record label would not let him sing the song on the soundtrack for the movie. So he asked Chester to sing it for him.
I thought it was 17 seconds scream. There's some artist that can scream longer than that but still his voice is something. Nice reaction guys 🤘🔥

The movie? Or is there a Tool song called The Grudge?
@edrueter9
Жыл бұрын
@@KathyLuluandDonna Great question. Tool is the band, the song title is called "The Grudge." It is on an album called Lateralus. It has a great message about letting go of grudges that drag us down, and for my money, features the best cathartic scream in all of rock music. I don't want to spoil the length of the scream and give it away, but it is insane. And it is not cut or looped, it is real.
