Sir, U explain so well! Seriously.
Thank you!
thank you sir!
I've enjoyed this chest trauma series! Thanks for sharing. Good content.
This is the best explanation I've heard yet. How common is this - is this a once-in-a-career sighting, like flail chest with full paradoxical motion, or is it more common? Is it the kind of injury that we would see while transporting a child from the trauma site, like a pneumothorax, or is it something that would slowly develop and we'd get the call the day after the trauma, like a leaky spleen?

my father fell and chest hurt. After 15 days, due to pain and some breathing issues, he went to urgent care and they saw a contusion in lung on xray. He went to ER lobby but it was crowded with people laying on floor and screaming and after 5 hours he left. Nurse was mad and ripped IV out of his arm. He is home but doesn't know where to go or what to do. Tomorrow he will try to call a pulmonary specialist. What to do with ER in USA no good atm?

The health care system here in the US has hit a new low. People just don't seem to care until it happens to them or they're love one

@@heatherdegruy3858 yeah he said Ellis had 75-100 people in lobby and some on stretchers on the floor and big people on floor rolling around and screaming and some screaming and swearing and receptionists angry and telling them go home. He said if virus was there its perfect place catch that many sick people all close together for so many hours.
Like being head butted in stomach everday aged 4 or 28 stone man pushing his whole body weight down on pregnant woman 7 months pregnant when she's lying on her back. I get sharp pain on breathing in i used to stop breathing, wait and then start again. But one day I breathed in pain was crippling but I breathed through it and what I got was a pop and what felt like u sticking it happens again sometimes.

Hi, can you please tell me how long you’ve been experiencing it and what did you do to feel better, any treatment? Thanks!

If you could spare the time I'd be grateful to hear more of your experience of this. I also suffer when I breathe in due to lung contusion brought on by severe blunt force trauma. To say I'm scared would be an understatement.
When the liquid enters the lungs; how does the liquid come back out?

Like any bruise, it is typically reabsorbed into the body. If the contusion is severe enough, the blood could irritate airway tissues and cause inflammation and coughing, which would bring up some blood in the sputum. In extreme cases in the ICU they may utilize intubation, use suction, deep breathing, percussion and drainage.

@@Limmereducation Thank you for this informative answer. Oh and would it be possible to detect such bruise on an xray?

@@OriginalJoseyWalesI too have lung contusion from major blunt force trauma. The gentleman in this video could elaborate much more than me in terms of accuracy, but yes I do believe lung contusion can show up on an x ray. All the best to you.
