    This is so helpful! I completely lost my chest voice following a year of larynx inflammation caused by asthma, covid, and the flu 😢 Although my head voice is coming back, my chest voice feels totally out of control. Yours is the first video with exercises that feel like they’re really working out and strengthening my chest range. Thank you so much for making it!

    The second to last chord up is where my chest voice wants to pass over to the head voice and my voice breaks right there. I feel like a lot of tension or pressure is built by that point. Not sure what to do with it? Is it normal to feel a lot of pressure at the top end of your chest voice?

    Yes it is normal to feel a lot of pressure, it lets you know that you are about to enter the head voice range. That's when you need to start mixing your chest voice with the head voice for better transition. Work on backing off of your breathing there (which is why there is a lot of pressure) and transfer your sound to the roof of your mouth so that it sits in the front of the face, rather than down in your throat.
