I swear these coffee chess videos just wouldn’t hit the same without Carlini’s commentary 🤣

The only thing more quick than their moves, is their wit! I LOVED watching this. Some people take chess and themselves so seriously, and it's great to see masters of the craft taking it seriously but also ENJOYING it so much. This is competition and camaraderie exemplified simultaneously in the best of all ways. 😊💯

I love the friendly trash talking... making this game, which is way beyond me, really fun to watch.

You both looked like you really enjoyed that. Also, Mike's jumper looks so soft to the touch, it sort of mesmerised me.

I get so fascinated watching her play. I was never very good at the game, but I love to see a great player play chess.

The placement of the captions is brilliant, easy to follow and to see the time clock, love it!

I love the fact that she can hold her own when it comes to trash talking... as great as she is as a player, her ability to get inside her opponent's head is just as great. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Thats about the moste entertaining chessgame i have ever seen... "Im kind'o worried, Mike". "IM MORE worried!". Love how she is just totally into the lingo

a big shout out to the backstage editors replicating these games on a pc screen record and the adding the oh so useful overlay to these brilliant vids!

Mike reminds me of the guys I'd play cards with from the local pizza shop when things were slow. They'd trash talk and bullshit with you all day, but they were always great guys and definitely taught me a lot. One of them even ended up giving me my first job working there! Then proceeded to absolutely trash talk my every mistake as an employee...and I thought his card trash talk was bad lol. Taught me a lot of work ethic while he was bustin' my balls!

I would of liked to see either player win but I didn’t want to see Anna lose...So great to watch all around especially Mike’s ability to talk some trash while never insulting his opponent. Anna‘s emotional narration is KZread gold.
