The cast of 'Chesapeake Shores' is so excited about season 5! Barbara Niven, Treat Williams, Brendan Penny, Laci J. Mailey and Brendan Penny open up during a panel moderated by ET's Deidre Behar all about the series' upcoming season and what to expect. Treat and Barbara tease what's next for Mick and Megan's bubbling romance. Brendan shares more about Kevin and Sarah's journey to becoming parents. Laci gushes over her character, Jess, who gets married this season to David. The actress shares details about filming the wedding, who cried on set, what it was like wearing the wedding dress and more. It's a show by Hallmark, named Chesapeake shores. It has just returned for season 5, and the conversation is about that. It's a beautiful show :)

I was TERRIBLY disappointed in the last episode--the wedding episode. Soooooo much wasted air time on STUPID dreams!!! These writers have SUCH a great group of actors and actresses with whom to work. If the writers can't come up with better storylines for them, they NEED to be replaced!!! It is no wonder why Jesse Metcalf left the show. He said he didn't like the direction his character was going. I can see why if he wasn't given better material than the last episode. Like I said, the writers have great potential with Mick and Megan, Abby and Evan, plus all the main characters. Great opportunities are available!!! I ONLY hope the writers take advantage of them. I would HATE to see this show go down the tubes for lack of interesting storylines!!!
Abby and Evan should get together and Bree I like her besides being gorgeous I don't see any man turn her down

Never explored - the intimacy between enstranged mom and her kids - missed the healing part of the return of the mom completely - gran's role completely diminished - became just a mish mash of different kids and their superficial dating characters Hallmark is after all fluff. By nature, it cannot go into the deeper instincts and emotions.
