That story about her children at the end makes me want to cry . Brilliant woman.
I just finished reading "Wild", a fantastic memoir. I am hopeful that the movie equals the book. Much respect to you, Cheryl!
I've watched Wild for more than 5 times, still I think it's one of the best memoir movies ever made. I got so inspired by Cheryl Strayed, especially with the way she tells her story. She's an extraordinary woman.
The most touching book/film and person(s) - Cheryl + Reese's performance - I encountered this year! It is embracing everyone of us and the journey is not about an actual hike it is about a journey we all can participate in in many ways of 'travelling' in our lives. We all got a story to tell and it is warming and close to hear someone else's journey which seems to mirror our own feelings. Feelings are what makes us act and I thoroughly been bowled over by Cheryl's words. Thank you for sharing it with us!
