I remember when this came out in may 2012. I was only 11 and I loved this song so much. It was so sunny and carefree back then. Used to ride on the bike with my other 11/12 years old friends from school all day! And now... it is almost may 2020 and all people are closed in their homes being scared of their family members that they might get infected and die. Before that, I wasnt happy either, cause all people judge you when you are an adult and I am only 19. You need to study, make money. Only duties, no fun. My back-then friends with whom I used to ride on the bike back in 2012 have their own life and forgot about me. I'm on my own. I mean I have a wonderful family who loves me and I should have strength to carry on, and do my duties. But family isn't enough for me. Without true friends and true love its hard for me to do my college obligatories. I just have no motivation or happiness. But this songs thrown me back to 2012 when I was only in elementary and I fucken miss this time so much. But one band once said: " Wake up you need to make a money!". I just hope that one day, I'll find my true love and friendship from my dreams and that I'll be happy as much as in 2012.

I live in the US and discovered Cheryl shortly before the US XF debacle, so she had released Messy Little Raindrops. This was my first comeback of hers as a fan, and I stayed up till 4am with my twitter friends just for the radio premiere. Honestly, I still feel the same excitement I felt 12 years ago as soon as the song starts. Just something about it. Really thought this woulda been her big break in the States, but alas she wanted to continue vacationing here in peace and I really can't blame her for that 😂 Shame she stopped releasing music.

I remember this soming out when I was a teenager. I went through a phase of not liking the current music at the time & only listening to music from the 80's or earlier. But this song was so catchy, it was hard not to like it! I felt like it was a guilty pleasure. I listen to all music guilt free now & this is still a bop!
