Fact is Cheryl aint the creator of these shows, she dont run a record label, and she isnt the person who gets worked with if the show is won, simple as that.

@@randomhighguy3872 you probably never went through an audition. If you did, you would know you shouldn't upset whoever is judging you. Cheryl is one of the judges, she says no, it's no. Their vote counts the same. So, Simon owns the franchise, but at the judging table, 1 counts for 1. It's not a joke, it's an audition. You should be prepared for a stage like that. Think before speaking. Her honesty did not help her at all. It comes down to ,how bad does she want it?

The audience cares two hoots about your attitude or "professionalism". If they like your performance, they buy it. And those who "don't like" to work with you won't have a choice because you bring in money and they would need it. In fact, quirkiness and arrogance is pretty much a key ingredient of a pop artist these days. That is what Gen Z seems to appreciate. Not saying I agree to it. But that is the current reality.

Honestly, I was expecting her to have a bad attitude about being rejected the first time but she actually took the criticism well and didn’t fight much. She showed that she clearly wanted in without resorting to begging, she made sure it was ok to come back, and she came back and actually killed it instead of doing the same song with the same lifeless voice.

Cheryl definitely had a point when she was commenting about her lack of likability. Far too up herself for her own good and not friendly whatsoever.

I like her, I like how unique she is. I like how she is oblivious to social cues because everyone is trying to fit a certain look and attitude these days and she is just herself. That's harder.

It’s hard to tell bc she’s really determined for her future. She does have a remarkable voice. I just listened to this song and so phenomenal. Sometimes you don’t need others to judge you you just have to pave your own path. Sometimes self determination can come off “bit*hy”. But in the end that’s what got her the second chance she needed.

Simon just disappointed Cheryl big time.that girl's manipulative it was actually very unfair to allow her a second song to sing seeing her behaviour and attitude towards the judges were so wrong in many ways.for a 31 year old woman she certainly acted out like a ungrateful teenager

Omg I had no idea that RAIGN was on The X Factor! I remember this audition now, but I didn't realise it was her. I heard her songs 'Now I Can Fly' and 'Don't Let Me Go' last year, and I thought I'd heard the latter somewhere before. This must've been it! The song stuck in my head for 7 years, but I had no idea where I'd heard it! She's amazing & I'm glad she still continued with her music career after appearing on The X Factor. The judges were so horrible to her, telling her she wasn't likeable & needed to change her image. I love that Mel B said different & told her she liked that she was unique & to keep being herself. That's why I prefer The Voice, because it's purely a singing competition, nothing to do with looks. Cheryl was clearly jealous of her and jealous that she said Simon's opinion was the most important to her (which, let's face it, it was to most X Factor contestants); that's why she was being so horrible. What a stuck-up, awful person she showed herself to be here! By the way, how's her music career going these days? 🧐 when was the last time she had a song appear on a TV show or movie like several of RAIGN's songs have now? 🤔
