Nice video. My little AGT H12 arrived 2 days ago. It looks very similar to yours! So far I have found 2 missing bolts off the rear cover, one broken grease zerk, several others I could turn with my fingers lol. Tomorrow I will continue checking for loose or missing bolts. Including underneath. Another common problem is the motor that rotates the upper assembly around, not sure of proper word. Those bolts come loose, saw that problem on 2 video's, On one all the bolts came out but one finally breaking the motor housing! So I'll be pulling the floor cover tommorow to check those and the battery etc.On a positive note, It started right up and everything functions well. Thanks for sharing your video.

Thanks for the video. A lot of good information. Most of it confirms my understanding from my research. I have a Hightop HT10BZ working its way through customs right now. I totally underestimated the customs process. If you import be sure to do your research and get as much of the required paperwork in order before it arrives on the dock. The biggest challenge I had was the EPA paperwork.

Excellent detailed overview, kudos. Watched many as own the near exact mini. I have not yet added fans, I have removed the back eng. panel and extended the exhaust a few inches out from the body then wrapped with insulation, I also added another layer of insulation under the seat with another extra layer metal tape, I live in Arkansas and it gets hot but not my seat anymore. Changed out grease fittings to nipple zert fittings. Recently bought a 1.5 ton hoping for more stability, not driven much , still in break in stage and need to change oil. But not nearly as bouncy as the 1 ton. It has pilot controls and can get reasonably smooth control as compared to my 1 ton. I spun tracks a few times and at 66 it’s can be hell getting them on by yourself in 100 deg temps. There are tricks for the one person track mounting. I found with my tracks they do not do well in loose sand / dirt, I’ve learned to turn using the boom (as you demonstrated ) not by turn sticks when on this surfaces. Make sure to keep proper tension on those tracks , drastic temp changes may require an adjustment. No what I’ve posted above is not specifically for this channels owner for he seems well knowledged on these excavators but for stoppers by, subscribers. One more thing sense it winter, let your hydraulic oil come to temp when cold, before operating.

Thank you for the info, i bet the added insulation is a game changer. I have been lucky and have not thrown a track yet. I have come close, though, in sandy conditions.

Got mine from an auction. They had about 15 of the chery machines, 3 of them had the flat face undercarriage, while all the other ones had a more rounded base, I didn't like how the blade hydraulics attached to it. Wound up getting one of the three with the flat frame. This thing has been very useful so far. I'm going to another auction next month.

Bought a typhon with a full cab recently out of california. Still waiting for it to get here to check out the build quality. Looks the same as yours except for the cab. I wish john deere or Cat would building something cheap and simple like this.

On the note about Briggs and Stratten engines,do they have #2 grade engines these use? But a 1 banger engine won't last long anyways,with all the stress on it!

You are using the machine backwards. That is why you are having issues digging.

There are a lot poping up on ebay and amazon too. There are some facebook groups dedicated to these that have folks selling attachments too

The chery looks like the model with a counterwieght? There are two basic styles, as is common of knock-off machines made in china, and the way I keep them straight is one has a rear counterweight, a heavy but cheap iron fender, and the other does not. As you pointed out, the exact style depends on the company and the class you get... if you are buying at auction or from a vendor, that is just what the person who originally was ordering thought was best, while if you order direct they are very good at working with you... but expect to pay about the same again in shipping, customs and fees. Some of the cheapest ones, you will wind up spending more in the transit than you spent on the machine. To your points on maintaining and breaking in... the first dozen hours this machine has to be your baby, because unlike a case, kub, or jd machine, this thing comes with near zero miles on it. They did not do all the breaking in... that is your problem.

You can buy other types of engines,deisel 2 cylinders,ad a fluid cooler.

Put your blade behind you when digging and you'll stop bucking up in the front. K nevermind, as i continued watching, you did. So it was just hard digging through the roots then. K

If you get ahold of one of the dozen or so companies making these? The one I know has a good dozen attachments, I have seen one jackhammer in one of the unloading videos but he was still trying to figure out how to work it since these never come with a manual.

I don't belive they have a dedicated fuse box. There may be a in line fuse depending on manufacturer
