Beautiful! I'm part Cherokee too, but a small fraction. Before I knew it though, my instinctual beliefs were always closely aligned with Native American beliefs. All is sacred. This song is beautiful. Thank you for sharing it.

I am Irish, German, and "Indian" on my father's side, and English, Dutch, French-Canadian (Quebequois), Scotch, Irish, Norwegian, and 2 parts of northern American Indian on my mother's side. Regardless of my ancestor's ancestry, I Am American, and I am very proud to have both European as well as Native blood running through my veins. Long live the Natives. Long live the Euroes. Long live the Americans, in peace, prosperity, and love.

let me add one more thing--- this music is healing or it is enlightening or it is whatever you want it to be inside of you and it can make you feel as bright as the sun if you need it be. This is for the WORLD not just for American Indians and we descendants although my descendants were NOT like a few hundred years ago. no way, But I always wish the best for anyone who needs it from the heart so if anyone needs this song to make them smile and dance in YOUR own way.....go for it--feel it--- dig it. It is LIFE in song and life in rhythm, Love to all. - "Jen"

thank you for this. my dad was 1/2 or 3/4 cherokee and grew up in the 50's. he was picked on as a child for being a half-breed, so he was never very proud of his heritage. now he's gone and i don't know much about this part of my history. my grand mother was cherokee and my grandfather was part. so this gives me a small hint of what my ancestors did. they were eastern band, and that is all i really know. thank you for this.

I have a small amount of Cherokee blood in me. Cherokee blood non the less though. My spirit has always flown with the winds, & my blood flowing like the rivers. Apart of her I am. Even though my surroundings are not the same. (It's blood is the waters, its veins are the rivers, its surroundings are not the same I.E - space.)

If you are indian then just say you are indian. I've always found the comments of being an 'eighth indian', or a 'quarter indian', and such, very silly. Sorry if I offend anyone with this comment. Don't mean to. Beautiful music. I enjoyed listening to it. Peace...

+Mike Morrison if you had any lick fuckin sense you'd know better. the odds every generation reproduces within it's own race for 200 years is as about as likely as a meteor hitting you and winning the lottery in the same day. meaning every generation passing gene's split and reduce unless you fuck and make a baby with another human that has the same mixture of races as your own. i'm scottish and english and i've been told my great great great great great granny had cherokee blood from her great great great grand daddy, and fuck you for trying make light of people that try to connect with apart their families past, cause truth be told, i don't give a fuck about you or your granny either.

  • @Mr.MagicMike

+Brett Wright that's nice, I truly see where you are coming from, it bet your granny was a princess too? Oh wait was she a queen?? Holy shit, is your family royalty? Bahahaha I don't give a fuck what people's blood is. The point I'm aiming to is when people know they aren't just native they don't want anything to do with who they really are they want to be something they are not. You can have INDIAN blood but that doesn't make you INDIAN. So to your statement, go fuck yourself. Yes I know people reproduce with several different races, I'm not a complete moron. People just need to stop and fucking realize who they actually are before they start claiming shit. They need to learn about THEIR culture not just one, but all of them. Wether it be black, Hispanic, white, or American Indian.
