I'm Cherokee Indian. I'm so proud to be. The freedom my people had, the love they felt for the earth, for nature, it lives in me. I follow all of the traditions, I worship the great spirit of the earth, I do believe every living thing has a spirit, and I pray to Mother Earth. This song makes me so happy. I listen to it on repeat whenever I can.

I wish there were more of us who still follow the old ways our fore mothers once practiced but those of us left will always know peace while the barbarians know only madness and ignorance

While we were visiting the Cherokee NC we attended a concert by Walela who sang this song during her concert, She referred to this as the Cherokee National Anthem and everyone at the concert stood and I don't believe there was a dry eye when she was done. It is one thing to listen to it on my CD but entirely different to watch her sing. It was awesome and inspiring. I love this song. We sing it when our group meets.

"The warrior is not someone who fights, because no one has the right to take the life of another. The warrior sacrificing himself for the good of others. His job caring for the elderly, the helpless, who can not fend for himself and especially children, the future of humanity". Cherokee Proverb. Thank you Chris, you made a good job.

In today's chaotic world, recognizing & drinking in the Beauty of Mother Earth is the only way I stay sane. Maybe this is due to my Native heritage or simply because I find Nature more balanced than "civilization". One day I hope that changes & people can once again live in balance. Thank you for the remembrances -- wonderful visuals & melodious song.

Hi Chris,. a beautifully designed video with a good song! The words of a Dakota of Indian fit well to the content of your video: The native of Americans combined his pride with an extraordinary humility. Arrogance was alien to his nature and his teachings. He firmly believed the silence - the characters of perfect harmony. Silence and silence are the balance of body, mind and soul for him. Regards, Charly
