Your comment is so on point!! As the leader of NCT, I don't think this man gets enough credit for his care of the other members, his leadership & his creative genius!!! People have praised other members for being the best dancer, etc., but they've honed their skills because Taeyong takes new members under his wing & guidance to teach and help them become better ~ & many, if not all of the NCT members have acknowledged it!! He should be given all the respect in the world for his leadership & talents!! I first followed NCT because of Shotaro & learned who Taeyong was after seeing a video of him helping Shotaro before a performance with his mic. Then I saw another of him helping Sungchan & some older videos of him caring for WinWin & others! That man won over my heart at that point! Even if he didn't have the incredible visual & talent that he has, he's so much more than that - his loving heart & caring for the NCT members make him so very special!! I hope SM appreciates & takes care of this wonderful man who is pretty much responsible for helping to elevate NCT & the talents of the members with support and endless encouragement to the standouts that they now are!! 👏👏💚🎶🎤🎵👍💚

The director also said Yuta has unbelievable visual. Apparently Yuta commonly gets "transformation" comments from others, not just from fans. Of course taeyong has the looks talent and instrument to act but he has not learned to play it yet. He has mastered idolhood but he still needs to learn a whole new set of acting skills. The K dramas many idols appear in are adequate to satisfy their adoring fans but at his level of stardom taeyong is destined for bigger roles WHEN he has fully prepared for them. He is worth waiting for.
