கர்நாடக சங்கீதம் தங்களின் பரம்பரை சொத்து என்று பிராமணர்கள் ஏன் சொந்தம் கொண்டாடுகிறார்கள். காக்கை குருவிகளும் இசை பாடுகின்றன. அதனால் தானோ பாரதி காக்கை குருவியும் எங்கள் ஜாதி என்றார். இந்த பிரபஞ்சத்தில் எல்லாம் எல்லோருக்கும் சொந்தமே கடவுள் உட்பட. அவரவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு வேண்டியதை வேண்டிய அளவு எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறார்கள். அதிகமாக எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறவர்கள் (சாதகம் செய்பவர்கள் சாதிக்கிறார்கள்)

Masterpiece.. in every aspect.. google results say that he ‘reclaimed’ the word poromboke. Truly heart shaking . The truth is that many of us living in urban areas don’t necessarily realise the other aspect of ‘development’ - truly calls for the need of sustainable development

Brilliant! I have heard TM Krishna live several times. Best of the classical singers.Despite coming from an elite background, his concern with social issues is amazing. I hard this song couple of days ago. Resonated with my thoughts. Karnatic music has always provided a basis for contemporary messages and some are indeed timeless... take for example the Harinama sankirthanams of Purandara dasa Kanaka dasa and vachana sahitya...

After the Great Legendary Poet, Subramania Bharati whose fierce songs on nature and its beauty and the freedom songs so meaningful and soulful, it is Shri.T M Krishna's song on Porambaoku Paadal highlights the man made environmental degradation of all the waterways , air and the flora and fauna in the name of development. Krishna has made me bleed and eternally melancholic and sorrowful in solitary state.Despair in utter helplessness as to would we ever gain our Paradise that we have lost. Once we were care of nature and today unfortunately nature is under our (mis) care. God save the Mother Nature

Oomph, what a social message thro such a soulful rendition. This is not a song. This is a movement. A revolution. A transformative force. A divine voice calling all fellow citizens to lend their voice to a good cause. The instruments tug at your heart strings. Wow! Excellent form to draw the attentions of our thoughtless thought leaders who fancy listening to Carnatic music. There is a message for them here. I wish your team travels to the Ganges river bank right from Haridwar to Sundarban to show how we have degraded the mother of all rivers, River Ganga. Ganga, Kaveri, Brhahmputra, Mahanadi, Godavari, Yamuna, Narmada, Krishna, Sone and many such rivers are our lifeline. They mean different things to different lives. To us humans, it inspires not just art, poetry, singing, literature, culture, literature, but they also are the source of sustenance for fishing, transportation, agriculture, irrigation and numerous industries. It is for these reasons we have called them our lifeline. And what have we done to protect it. Congratulations dear ones. I am longing to see your tribe grow.
