Jiang Cheng acting like the Wens wouldn't have come to Lotus Pier anyway regardless of Wei Wuxian when they were already taking over everywhere is really, really exasperating

i really love Weiying and Lan zhan's relationship it is so deep.. it is beyond anyone's understanding. it's so hard to see relationship like this portrayed in another drama.. cause some characters in another story are just two dimensional so that's why they are either boring or you'll hate them.. or you might love them but when something new comes out you'll totally forget about it. But here Weiying and Lan zhan's character is so hard to move on no matter how many new dramas there will be, you'll never forget these two and always comeback. Especially when Yibo and Xiao zhan really did a great job in portraying the characters and also the other actors they did a great job. I really appreciate an actor that can show multiple emotions in their face even without saying lines and even saying any lines but you can see the complexities of their emotions that contrasted what they where saying.. it is just really amazing.

one of my most favorite scenes out of many for this series. This series is so epic master piece on a grand scale. YuBin does an excellent acting playing We Ning's character. He was so underrated for this role. The love runs so deep between Lan zhan and Weiying and the producer did a great in capturing that love without crossing the lines for a Chinese BL. This is the ultimate classic series and i have watched it so many times. It's right up there with lord of the rings classic.

And that why he was so blinded to the good things he could have accomplished..... Jealousy and envy.. that just it. No matter how good or bad their relationship was, no thanks to the mother. He was still too slow to think. And it not about the golden core, he has been a narrow minded person from the very beginning that why suzhi ended up in Lan sect. He could have sided with his brother and get the great doctor from that fallen sect. It a movie, yea but he could have made a better decision. That why lan zhan was d first to recognize wei, he loves him thereby he understood how far and how well he could go and sacrifice. Well he did know his core was missing but he he never expected that what jiang was using... I think that why he was so hurt.

This is what you call a master piece that will live on forever. I don't know how many times I have watched the series/drama, and still watching these little episodes re-runs. LOL...amazing what they've done with this drama. It has become my #1 Chinese drama. It was princess silver, but it is now 2nd place, if you are looking for another Chinese drama I would say look no further it has 58 episodes.

Lan Zhan shout "Wei Ying, please wake up I don't want lost you again."

He really played a great hateful character. I loved his performance. This is one of my favorite scenes in the drama as it truly shows their working minds and raw emotions. It was perfect.

Jiang Cheng's acting here is superb. He has one of the best facial/eye expressions in this series, and he enunciates his lines very clearly with the right amount of emotions. He's underrated likely because his character isn't likable.

Exactly! He has done phenomenal job and this specific scene definitely stands out. We can feel from his expression that he hates Wei Ying but also hates the feeling he hates him. It is so complex, he wants to be in Lang Jha's place and hates the fact he could not be the person Wei Ying needed at his worst. He is hurting and jealous. That is why he is channeling his anger and jealousy by provoking and insulting his brother so he would get back and lash out. Awesome!

Wei Wuxian can take insults if it’s aimed at him. After all, he’s so used to it. But insult Lan Wangji? Anger, defiance, he’ll get in your face. I don’t think Lan Wangji and Jiang Cheng will ever like each other. But I think they might one day learn to be around each other without animosity. They may disagree on many (many many many) things, but there’s one thing they do have in common: they both deeply love Wei Wuxian, one as a brother and another as a lover. Hopefully, that can be their bridge to finding a way to overcome the past.

They tolerate each other in the post-canon of the novel, and MXTX did say that LWJ and JC have this mutual respect for wach other as cultivators, and have a mutual agreement to get along for WWX’s sake.🥺 this is further confirmed through the Mid-Autumn Festival Audio Drama special, where in JC often visits the Cloud Recesses post-canon.

There’s some with drunk Twin Jades, one with Baby A’yuan growing up in Gusu, and even one with Jiang Cheng and Wei Ying as children in the Lotus Pier🥺 there’s even one where Lan Zhan tries the dishes that Wei Ying tells him stories about, like fresh Lotus Seeds, and stir-fried watermelon rinds (which is a thing! It’s actually real and I made some for me and my cousins, it was delicious 🤤i followed a sweet and sour recipe online)

To be fair to the title tho, Jiang Cheng was indeed jealous. But not in the way that you guys think. It's no romantic jealousy. You know that jealousy you have when you best friend/sibling starts to have a lover? The jealousy where you feel like someone is here to take your sibling/best friend away from you. This is what Jiang Cheng feels. This is what he has been feeling for a very long time. Who did Wei Ying see as his equal in terms of strength, bravery, and intellect? Lan Zhan. Who did Wei Ying share the same pains of being orphans with? Lan Zhan. Who did Wei Ying share the same principles and beliefs with? Lan Zhan. Who did Wei Ying trust more than anyone, even his own siblings? Lan Zhan. And after Wei Ying revived, who was the first person he went home to? Lan Zhan. Again and again, Wei Ying always chose Lan Zhan, and Jiang Cheng felt like he was never important to his brother after he met Lan Zhan. And that's what started to make them drift apart. Because Jiang Cheng knew that, no matter what happens--from the moment they met Lan Zhan, and reunited with him in Wei Ying's resurrection--Jiang Cheng won't be chosen by Wei Ying anymore. And that hurts Jiang Cheng. And when Jiang Cheng hurts, there is anger. When there is anger, there is impulse. And we all know how Jiang Cheng is when he becomes impulsive.

Oh, this is so beautiful and heartbreaking! Even the almighty Brother Gua agrees with you! Jiang Cheng… I wish I could give him a hug. Even though I absolutely love the head canon of him being aromantic, I truly hope he finds someone to become close to. It doesn’t have to be romantic, just give him a friend. Someone to help him during these times.

@@VuVu-kz1vd yes that is true. But in a way, Lan Zhan never knew his father. The man was in seclusion the entire time and never made time for his kids. Lan Zhan doesn’t even seem remotely upset when mentioning the man. And yes, Jiang Cheng did become an orphan after the attack, but the difference is that Jiang Cheng was given years with his parents. Neither Lan Zhan nor Wei Ying had that much time with their parents. Jiang Cheng never wanted for anything. He never had to go hungry the way Wei Ying did. So even if he was orphaned, it was miles away from what Lan Zhan or Wei Ying experienced.

Brother Gua, xie xie ni 😉 One of the most revealing and one of the best scenes ever of The Untamed the highlight 😪😪😪😪 my most loved scene ❤❤❤❤❤ Bottom line Jiang Chiang misses his little brother... He is just too stubborn to admit it himself... However one of them has to undergo the same thing... They both lost loved ones but Wuxian handles things differently Because he is not alone in his emotional battles He has Lan Zhan an We Ning by his side in his most crucial moment 😘☺😘☺ Good job guys... You really pressed the deepest part of your viewers... It is called great actors and actresses!!!!!!!! You all deserve all the applause and love ❤ 😘☺😘☺

The drama is overly beautiful in the way Wei and wangji even though they have different point on view have manage to respect each other. But I will like it if Wei was a lady because being a only men set a limit to their bound. Love is sensed between them but they seem to be limited and don’t show it.
