Kepa now the only keeper to have an 80%+ save percentage in both the PL and UCL and also has more clean sheets for Chelsea in less appearances than Courtois. Not bad for someone who was deemed that worst keeper in the league at one point 💙🧤

Don't kid yourself thinking he is on Courtois level. Courtois wouldn't have made those silly mistakes that Kepa made against Man United, City, Spurs, West Ham and Fulham.

@@ukimenustah26 i mean, it’s not that. The problem with him is normally not trying to go forward with the ball and always looking for the back pass… which is usually useless. But instead, yesterday he played as LCB and had Chilwell as a LB right next to him to play along, and also was wonderful at interceptions. So I think he is just better at that position

3-4-3 is the way to go, especially in UCL, happy for Potter and the players after a tough time period, we have the best wingbacks and many talented CBs, Havertz was classy in a deeper role too 💙

Agreed, we struggled with it before because of Chilwell and James being out injured. Now they’re back and we have cucurella as backup and Malo Gusto coming in during summer we have plenty of options and backup for the formation. This formation is when we play our best

Havertz has always been a savior

Chilwell, Cucu and Kepa - they were absolutely fantastic in this game. Also, it is lovely seeing W Fofana getting confident and giving needed performances. A little better coordination among the squad and finish in front of the goal post, that's all we need to be an impactful side.

Based on your current formation you need a World Class Poacher in front and the 2 behind is Havertz and Felix, in the middle you have Chillwell, Enzo, ( Another Casemiro type Controller ) and if Sterling can track back right mid, if not i recommend buying Nuno Mendes and put Chilwell on the right. You guys need to revise your defense and work on team synchronisation. But you're mostly on the right track 💙.

I thought Chillwell deserved man of the match for me. Had contributions of assists in both goals, was very positive going forward and attacking which played a massive part in Chelsea winning the game. Cucurella had a good performance defensively with tackles and interceptions but I doubt his contribution wouldve won Chelsea the game like Chillwell's impact
