@@tonynogueira8900 That would be true for any other kind of business/industry except football especially considering that the owners in question had no prior experience at owning and operating an elite PL and European club like Chelsea FC. And as things have gone so far, there’s enough evidence to suggest that the “vision” that you speak of is flawed where Boehly/Clearlake have been spectacularly naive.

We missed Roman. His foresight was tremendous. Should not sack Thomas Tuchel. He was one of the best coach Chelsea had. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

I’m watching this in April 2023 and Chelsea are 11 in the league nothing has worked that he wanted nothing has gone well we have a lost streak of 4 losses and nothing is going well he have brought frank back after sacking potter this is not Chelsea football club anymore

Todd is trying to implement the “Money Ball” way of running a club similar to Brighton and Brentford (both owners were close friends) we have never been a selling club so why start now, but Todd is trying hard, buying every “potential” teenager that will never see the Chelsea pitch,they will be loaned out and sold for a profit.

Poor Chelsea fans, they had a great owner in Roman Abramovich and UEFA fucked them up just because of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Now they have to deal with this guy 🤦🏻‍♂️

I am concerned over the future of Chelsea FC. Firstly, the new owner only sees the shareholder price of the club as he sees it as a business and probably nothing else. He is only interested in more business acquisitions but not really developing football at the club. Secondly, as good as Graham Potter is, he is going to be another short-term solution. You gave Tuchel $300 million to acquire players that are optimal for his system. Will Graham Potter be comfortable knowing he has to work with what he's got? And of course, there are a number of players who are scratching their heads over this decision which puts this club in danger of resembling the personal branding machine at Manchester United. Thirdly, fans of European Football loathed the ESL (European Super League) and they are not going to like its mini-me in the form of the "All-Star Game". With the Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, Community Shield, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa Conference League, UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup, where exactly do managers find the time to plan for this all-star game? Will the players have the energy for this especially when you factor in their international breaks? Fourthly, nothing he says fixes Chelsea's immediate problems. Tuchel's resume is much better than Potter's especially in the tactical department. He may not be the best to get along with, but his accomplishments show. The players will have to adjust to new tactics and Potter will have to gain their trust. If American sports are an inexact, unpredictable science, then football is an even more inexact, unpredictable science. You can't change managers like you change your underwear and expect better results. It may work but that is less likely. Fifthly, Boehly looks completely detached from the needs of his fans. Chelsea fans are pissed at his decisions as it seems like a boss throwing his weight around to intimidate people and stamp his authority on the club. I was worried about Chelsea getting an American owner. It may sound prejudice but Americanizing a British/European club will hurt the club more than help. I pray Boehly proves me wrong.

What he says about brexit and buying younger players is true so many players can’t be signed as youth players because of work permits just look at Newcastle with there Australian kid can’t play for them yet because he needs more games to get a permit that’s why the new young signings he’s made are or have played for there national squads

sacking Tuchel was the worst decision this club has ever made, i remember the day i saw his picture on instagram and knew that when i scrolled down it would say they’ve parted ways and my stomach sank. tried to be optimistic and think oh well maybe we’ll bring in Zidane or someone like that but nope. Brought in English Chuck Norris and i’ve hated it ever since. I want to give managers time at Chelsea but I never backed this man from the start and today we’ve won 2 in the last 15 games. Absolutely appalling and maybe i would eat my words and back track if he showed some progress but nope, mostly just players showing individual brillance

Crazy talk

Come to a football club fire and/or force everyone who understands football to leave. Micromanage one of the world's most elite coaches in the name of "collaboration" and then drive him crazy and fire him and then without having any sporting director or anyone who understands football like blind people ask around what is what and then hire an average English coach inflated by their media who has never won anything in his life and hand him a 5 year contract. Just because you have made money somewhere else doesn't mean that you have an understanding of another business. Many of us said that they made one of the biggest mistakes in football history by sacking Tuchel and they don't understand football and now fast forward couple of months we are seeing where they have brought Chelsea by making a clueless nobody the manager of some of most talented football players!
