Ange knows in a managerial campaign there are ups and downs and that those are to be overcome. Conte & Mourinho stopped at the first sight of backlash. There is a difference.

I want Ange to succeed and he deserves another season but there's a feeling of inevitability that his tactics won't work in the Premier League and his stubbornness will lead him to be sacked halfway through next season...and the cycle repeats. We've got worse through the season. The attack is blunt and out of ideas most games, the midfield balance has been off most of the season and the defence is amateurishly open....oh and we can't defend set pieces, talk about fundamentals!

One trick pony Tottenham exploited again!! It is so easy to stop our attack because all we do is pass the ball to the wide wingers and throw a low cross to a lone striker inside the box who is surrounded by 4 defenders. Ange needs to implement more tactics. Have the wingers cut inside more instead of staying out wide all the time. Maybe have the fullbacks do the low cross and have the wingers in the box so we can at least have more targets to aim at. Inverted fullbacks is such a useless tactic. All our goals this season have nothing to do with inverted fullbacks. All they do is give us more possession dominating midfield hut for what if we have no end product. I’m not blaming Ange or the players but we need to either create some tactics that fit our squad or change all the players to match Ange’s tactics. I do not see the players we have now thrive with Ange’s tactic.

They are not Real Madrid, nor City, nor Bayer, etc., who have a fat wallet to spend lavishly; That's why Ange can't stay one more season, he's a terrible coach! because he insists on playing how he wants and not how he can; It is evident that this man only knows how to play in one way, the team does not move ball to the middle of the field, it only lateralizes on the wings and they put cross passes into the area. Well Tottenham do have the wallet now and they will spend in the upcoming windows though currently their squad just doesn't have the players who can be brought on and we would think that they can change the game. Plus Ange will never change his tactics though at least he needs to work on Set pieces because even if they are rare their impact can turn an entire game around. I think Spurs need to keep Ange and give him a world class striker, a backup cb/lb, plus 1 more midfielder and still if he doesn't achieve results then he can be sacked

He was brilliant before his injury, he's been a shadow since. His ball retention and ability to break lines was excellent, hope he gets back to that next season.

Spurs should learn the fact that the best way to attack is to defend first, they leave lots of spaces in behind.

We will, but he still deserves another season, he still wasn't able to get rid of the dummies like Hojbjerg.. tbh I don't think there's a possible rebuild to make us better, as long as we spend as much as we do, but the tactics ain't the main problem, it's players and team cohesion and team spirit. The fact the players don't believe in the system is in fact a problem of the players for not believing and not trying hard enough. Their job is not to question coaches' tactics but to put 100% into playing for the team, there's nothing else they need.

At this level, you will not go far, even in the conference league, you will not do anything

PL managers would change their approach/ tactic in certain games. Hopefully Ange learn that next season. Maybe sometimes use attacking fullback instead of inverted. Ball posession doesnt mean a thing if u keep losing.

Been that way most of the season, both been our consistent best players throughout. Both had the odd shaky game here and there understandably but both been generally excellent despite how much we have conceded.

@@jmo4952 yeah and they're not supposed to be there, it's supposed to be 4 at the back with the DM and Sarr tracking back, while Porro and LB are attacking. Maybe they just not understand each other well yet, maybe it's the system, but I doubt the plan is having only Micky and Cuti in defense, it's about switching while one defends, the other attacks and it seems we get to eager to attack, because we can't create chances 1v1, we need the other player to overlap. More creative fast athletic players is the answer, also one of the reasons we are lacking on Arsenal, City, Liverpool and Chelsea, all of the players they buy are tall and physically strong... One thing we need to focus on when recruiting, because at least the physical part of a player is consistent.
