Chef Steve brings a hidden gem to your home kitchen - the simple yet delectable entrée... of Fish Cakes And Linguini!
#Fish #Cakes are always a lifelong traditional classic and who doesn't love Linguini (can also be spelled as "Linguine"). Add in the gravy, and other additional delights such as #shrimp, #cheese, fresh #dill, minced #garlic, and various #spices and you'll readily have yourself a delicious meal that's fit for a king!
I tried this dish from several #diners and #Italian restaurants visited over the years, and felt this to be a hidden gem on the menu, one that is deserving and worthy of recognition in the culinary order. And so, it is prominently featured here.
Alternatively, you can use crab cakes instead of fish cakes. Its another fantastic option, but I've stuck with pure fish cakes to reflect the specific delicacies I've tasted and wanted to feature and augment upon.
This is a slightly spicy dish IF you add the red pepper and also pending IF you opt to use a spicy sauce. Note of course that although I strive to keep the sodium level low, this is NOT a sodium free food.
So do watch, follow along with #Chef #Steve, and once again - let's get cooking!

This looks really good. 😋 Its too bad some of the crab cakes broke apart... try adding them at the end instead.

Thanks. I really wanted them to be thoroughly mixed with the pasta which is why I added them early on. Also these fish cakes were bigger than I expected - meaning more likelihood of them breaking apart. You're right in that had I added them later, there would have been less chance of some of them breaking up. It was kind of a "six of one, half a dozen of the other" scenario.
