Thank God for your video man it gave me all the information I needed. I was really worried about cooking a turkey for the first time, and I didn’t wanna mess it up because the turkey is not for me it’s for my sister she doesn’t really have much hell she doesn’t even have electricity or water in her house and she couldn’t afford a turkey so I felt really bad for her and her boyfriend so I was gonna give her a turkey for Thanksgiving and cook it for her since she didn’t have electricity or gas in the house. I just didn’t wanna ruin it, but all the other videos on the Internet didn’t tell me exactly how long to cook the turkey when you break it the way you do and take out the backbone, so luckily your video told me exactly what I needed to know exactly how long to cook it what temperature to cook it at so I feel a lot better about doing this now. Thank you very much, happy Thanksgiving

I tried this yesterday. My new oven cooks extremely fast and I haven't tried most of the buttons. Yesterday I made an 18.5lb turkey, on convection roast 350f, in less than an hour and a half and it was just barely overdone. Next I am trying a 12 hour marinade and 1 hour 15 min. The skin came out amazing. The dark meat was nearly perfect but the breast was just slightly dry, even though it juiced like crazy, so next time I am dropping the cook time by about 10 min.

250 since he’s going for a long cook time at 3 hours. If he did 350 then it would be less than 2 hours for sure.
