@Cole Mouledous It consistently makes top three on lists and it’s often the favorite! On my last trip, normal waits never dipped below ninety minutes (Christmas break though, to be fair) and trains were running at a pretty consistent pace. Also if you open any public discussion asking about favs you’re bound to find at least a few (e.g. www.themeparkinsider.com/news/response.cfm?id=945508408) An unpopular fav would be something like sand serpent, not cheetah hunt

I'm from Tampa born and raised and I've had annual passes to Busch Gardens most of my life. When Cheetah Hunt was completed it instantly became my favorite. Cheetah Hunt is the smoothest, longest, and has the nicest scenery of all Roller Coaster in the park.

This was my first rollercoaster and it was scary. I have fear of heights, which sucks and it went really fast. This was a field trip and we drove four hours so I was going to make the most of it. In the end I had blast.

YES! This is what I like! Fast-paced, exhilarating, awesome inversions, and semi-huge drops that aren’t too much for me. This one is a masterpiece 😎

I ABSOLUTELY hate roller coasters,they scare me to death! However my sister managed to get me on this one some how LOL while I can say it wasn't exactly a pleasant experience..im proud that I conquered it! And maybe took a tiny bit of fear away since I survived haha :)

@@Coasterdude02149 agreed. I rode 2nd to last row and I was completely off of my seat most of the ride. The 3rd launch with the mini drop sucks the scream out of you. I wanted to scream but I literally couldn’t. The air time was too much for younger people and anyone older than 50 tbh. Cobras curse is a great family ride though.

just went on this yesterday, this was my first real roller coaster. I was terrified but I loved it. I have a huge fear of heights and I like how this stays relatively low to the ground. the start off was great!

I love the way this one accelerates when you don't expect it.

This is perfect for those who are just getting into roller coasters and are afraid. This is a good first step towards Loops that will help with the future

Went on this baby the first time. Couldn’t get up the courage to do a coaster until today. Holy crap best decision I’ve ever made, one of the best two minutes of my life. Extremely fun, I’ve felt more intensity with smaller roller coasters that I actually got the courage to go on lol.

I'm ten years old and I went on this and lemme tell you this is THE perfect roller coaster.

I'm just browsing thanks I know im super late, but, I went yesterday and it started to rain. We waiting almost 2 hours at the front of the line for it to reopen and whem it finally did, we got on. It was the best roller coaster Ive been on. While I cant say it was worth the 2 hour wait, it was really awesome. Also, Cobras Curse is GREAT as well.

We rode this for the VERY FIRST TIME WITH MY BROTHER, last year. We didn't expect that the ride was that fast. I didn't scream, didn't open my eyes, I was just silent and closing my eyes the whole ride. I REALLY THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE SINCE I HAD A HEART PROBLEM WHEN I WAS A KID. My brother thought I was unconscious since I was silent the whole ride. THANK GOD I SURVIVED AND CONQUERED MY FEARS. But I promised to myself I would never ride a roller coaster. I wouldn't risk my health again. GREAT RIDE GOSH. I CAN STILL FEEL THE INTENSE RIDE.

Roller coasters scare me to death. Iv'e only ridden on one or two and they were like kiddie coasters. Somehow my sis coaxed me on this one saying "Its a family coaster. It doesn't go upside down!" so i queued up. once I saw how FAST it went at the START. I regretted my decision. The whole time i screamed my head off. But the part where you speed up to go to that part that turns around ( 1:19 ) I felt like i was going to FLY OUT OF MY SEAT!!! Eventually, THE FREAKIN' CORKSCREW CAME. MY SISTER LIED. I started SCREAMING at that point. Afterwards, I LOVED ROLLERCOASTERS and wanted to ride all of them.

I went in this ride I'm like yea it's fun NO I ALMOST CRAPED ME PANTS AND I WAS CRYING AND MY PICTURE WAS FUNNY

This is one of the better coasters at the park and possibly good as a first coaster for anybody with coaster anxiety. As coasters go it's a fairly tame and mild ride. Its moderately fast, very smooth and has some great air time at the top of the lift hills. As much as I love the more extreme thrill rides, Cheetah Hunt is one of my favorites to just sit back, relax, and really soak in a good fun ride.

Did this yesterday. I lost 110lbs in the past year with diet and exercise and it was the first time I could fit into a rollercoaster safely in forever!! Had so much fun!!

Omg I remember this ride it was so awesome! My cousin was like “I’d put my head back if I were you” and I was like “oh nothing will happen!” Boy did that hurt.

For those who are going to Busch Gardens and looking for rollercoasters that will conquer your fear, Cheetah Hunt is the perfect one. Very big and fast but not over the top scary. The one upside down corkscrew in this ride gives you a quick feel for how upside down feels (which is not bad at all). You could do Cobras Curse before this to prepare for this one and get your adrenaline pumping. After this I promise you’ll feel ready to ride the rest of the coasters at the park!

Word of Warning for anyone who thinks they want to ride it: Don't take this too seriously, I have an irrational fear of roller coasters and was violently sobbing the entirety of standing in line and the entire ride. This video makes it look tame. The drop was honestly my biggest fear because it would've been the tallest one yet. If you =can get past five seconds of sheer weightless-I-am-going-to-puke feeling the ride is actually really fun. The twists and turns were really cool and I wanted to ride again afterwards. The only downside is the figure eight at the beginning and the drop.

I love this ride so much! It is perfection and very underrated, especially for an intamin coaster. I used to work at BG and get nostalgic and watch this! This one and Montu are a tie for my favorites at BG!

This coaster has one of the best heart line rolls!

This is a great coaster. Went to Busch Gardens for Gwazi but was impressed with the entire lineup. Unique coasters.

Best part of the ride is the 3rd and final launch, and the hill immediately after. You get a massive burst of really strong ejector airtime, and it's easily the best moment of the ride.

That was an amazing POV.

I rode this and it is awesome!!!

this is my favorite roller coaster... the feeling you have when you're on it is truly amazing

here a tip for getting rid of the stomach feeling on rollercoaster drops: 1. hold your breath 2. push your hands against your stomach (optional) 3. if you can, push your feet on the back of the seat in front of you (optional) ik these work cuz i tried it all together and i felt nothing. your welcome.

I love how the ride is long

Every time I visit this park this is the first ride I want to go on. It’s so good as a first coaster too for anyone who wants to get over their fears. Love the acceleration when you go up, it makes this ride.

Although Kumba or SheiKra are my fave Busch Gardens coasters, this one wins the award for design and craftsmanship. The way that it angles back and forth to mimic how a cheetah runs is brilliant !!

I really hope Taron at Phantasialand next year will be as good as Cheetah Hunt, or even better.

OMG I RODE THIS WHEN I WAS 8, I DID IT FOR A STUFT ANIMAL I LOST! “Totally worth it”

I love this ride. To top it off, it’s conveniently parked near the cheetah exhibition.

This is a MUST ride! It was so much fun my favorite ride at Busch gardens!

I love roller coasters!! I might go here for Thanksgiving or Christmas break, when its cool! So excited for this, SheiKra, Falcons Fury, Montu etc, things I wasnt tall enough for last time I went when I was 4 feet lol

I love this ride ! rode it about 5 times when I went , can't wait to head there again next year .

LETS GO FASTEST WOODEN COASTER IN NA!!!!

Weird how it seems long in the video but it was soo fast that i felt like it was 5 seconds. 5 seconds of speeding death.

Montu has always been my favorite since I was a youngster, I remember when they opened it for the first time, but for me , Cheetah Hunt is my new favorite, this coaster is awesome, and it's actually a long ride!

When I went on this it was amazing until it went upside down. I liked it going upside down but my parents lied to me and said it didn’t and all i said at the slower bits was ‘YOU LIARS!’

This was epic when I went in 2013

While I'm not a big fan of rollercoasters, I did venture out and rode Cheetah Hunt & Cobra's Curse this weekend at Busch Gardens during my daughter's 8th birthday & I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed them both.

This is actually a very good training coaster for if you've never done an inversion before. I wish it could be my first one

The best part is hearing people screaming😂😂😂😂

When i was in the line i was so scared because of butterflies jn my stomach but the roller coaster broke down so we had to go out

this is my favorite ride!! when it launches u i was DEFINITELY not expecting that but it was SOO FUN and i felt like i was gonna fall out on that barrel roll

What I don't get is that if this coaster opened in 2011 why does it use the Old Intamin style track and not the New track like they did for Intimidator 305 or Skyrush? I thought the old style was discontinued.

Coaster Amazon Nope. It was never discontinued. There's a ride being built by intamin right now that uses this track. it's called Taron.

yugioh guy It's just a choice the park makes really. (though skyrush i think it actually comes with the ride type)

Coaster Amazon It could possibly have something to do with the high amount of g-forces that are experienced on that ride. The double spine track was introduced to better cope with high g-forces while using less support structures. I don't know if you have ridden or not, but Cheetah Hunt isn't a very intense, high g force ride, so there wouldn't be much of a need for the double spine. Yes, it's not intense, but DAMN it's a fun ride lol.

Just went on this, I was so terrified cause of what it looks like on the outside. But I went and it’s probably one of the best roller coasters that has ever been created.

Busch Gardens/Tampa is one of the best amusement parks EVER.

No, probely not (sorry I have bad spelling) I am guessing this camera is mounted to the train plus this video was made six years ago

For anyone who was like me I was afraid of roller coasters without ever actually going on one, I was always the kid who would wait for my friends to get off of a roller coaster which was boring especially cause of the really long lines, but when my sister visited we wanted to break my habit I typically was only afraid of loops but cheetah hunt was a great start for me even though I was nervous the loop/spin felt like nothing and at the end of the night I went on sheikra! I promise you, you will have the time of your life I understand it looks intimidating but when you’re getting off you’ll be wishing to go again ( this really only applies to people who have never actually been on a roller coaster and are just intimidated by it )
