@@angelica437 ... and every cheerleading squad has girls that are "skinny af" because they need light people to be at the top. lol, again, this is how weight works. yes, there's nothing special about it, it being normal is what makes alot of people happy. if you were trying to say they need heavy girls on the team for that purpose, that is far from true. you really underestimate the strength of 4-5 girls holding up a thin girl. but its fine, i know you don't actually understimate it. you just wanted to say something in the hopes that you could make a decent point. you didn't lol

This was their day 1. Seriously what was the point of it if both days don't count towards the final score. What a waste of a wonderful moment and routine. It just doesn't make sense. I love WCSS too, but let's be real. They were in 4th day 1. If day one scores counted SE would have won. The USASF needs to get their act together and make some real changes. Stars deserved to win since they were one of the 2 teams to hit zero. I really wanted seniors to win because I love them. Seniors had a major bobble day 2 and another deduction I forgot what it was. Not everything went perfect on day two. Had they had hit zero... they would’ve won since their raw score was almost 1 point higher then stars. I believe in competitive cheerleading is a sport because it’s a competition between someone else, but I don’t believe cheering for the basketball team at your HS is a sport (because it’s not competition against one another). The competitive cheer world requires an insane amount of work and coordination and definitely deserves to be a sport. I really just don’t think literal “go boys you got this” and a few dance moves + cheers that are easy to memorize is a sport.
@trellabella1
4 жыл бұрын
Dry Fruit ummm for clarification the cheerleaders that cheer for basketball and football go to competitions as well and they also do stunts especially jv and varsity I know this from personal experience so don’t count them out it’s extremely athletic to say the least but your entitled to your opinion but judging by your comment you may have not actually done any of this yourself which is understandable
@dryfruit9272
4 жыл бұрын
Lovely Kay yeah, it’s true I’m not in cheer. But in my opinion, for something to be a sport, it has to have competition with it. One person vs. another. While the cheerleaders who cheer for the basketball team may be athletic, they’re not participating in a sport because it’s not a competition. If the two cheer teams go against one another and do flips and stuff as a competition during the halftime then yes it’s a sport.
@trellabella1
4 жыл бұрын
Also in addition alot if most of the competitive cheerleaders have a home team 🙄....it doesn’t just come out of thin air the coaches enter these teams into a competition hence where competitive cheering comes from so next time you see local cheerleaders and think there just out there screaming go team go now you know they are doing so much more than that ❤️

If alexxis’s stunt group didn’t have a bobble... they would’ve won!

@trellabella1

@dryfruit9272

@trellabella1
