Cheema - derived from the Italian "cima" (ˈʧima), as in "cima di rapa," "cima di cola," "cima di Bitonto," etc. - serves as the human instrument that brings the traditions of Puglia to the club, utilizing electronic music as a universal language for cultural sharing. Since 1996, Cheema has been an integral part of the music scene, starting as a DJ, progressing to a producer, and eventually becoming a live performer with advanced sound management technologies. The acquisition of new live techniques has enabled Cheema to experiment and collaborate with over 60 musicians to date. This exploration has resulted in diverse musical proposals spanning various genres. Cheema extends the voice of Apulia worldwide with care and special attention, finely balancing the elegance of electronics with the rich tradition of local dialects. This delicate equilibrium exists on the spectrum between experimentation and a dancefloor atmosphere. "Enjoy My Sensations" exemplifies the first house wave that hit Italy in the late '80s and early '90s-high energy, powerful stabs, and prominent vocals in the Bari dialect. It's a track that could be envisioned in the early days of the temple of Italian dance music, Cocoricò in Riccione. Enzo Elia, another expert in Italian dance music like Cheema, drew a similar comparison but infused a substantial amount of classic US House into his "Riccione 1994 Remix." Additionally, he delivered a beats version with his "Grooveappella Mixdown."
