Best bang for the buck reference monitors hands down.

Everyone makes a big fluff about Kali, but I Listened to both and ended up buying Presonus XT monitors around the same price point and so glad I did. Still love them til this day.

Lp-6's still rolling. If you wear them as headphones you can hear the high frequency noise. If you sit at the right distance you can't hear anything.

I got the LP-6s and loved them. I wanted something louder, so went to the IN-8s, which I don't like as much as the LP-6 (the LP-6 soundstage just seems more 3D). They are much louder, though. Might give these a try and move the IN-8s to a "listening room" kind of situation.

I own a pair of 1st Gen LP-8s, and while potentially overkill for my apartment mix rig?! I freakin LOVE them! Cheers Fluff!

I absolutely love your reviews. Definitely considering these as my 1st set of nearfield monitors as I begin this journey. I am also looking at the Neumann KH80's but we'll see. I don't really need the bluetooth and my understanding is that if you don't disconnect your pairing (i.e. leave it on with your phone or ipad) then they won't go to the analog connection.

Picked up my LP-6 v1 for $220 a pair right before v2 came out... Couldn't be happier... Every speaker in the Kali lineup is best in class...

I'm seriously considering these. I have a very small space and I currently mix on Slate VSX headphones, but I want monitors too.

Do you recommend them for a regular usage for tv movies, series and casual music listening? I dont produce any music. I'm just a broke audiophile who want something good without breaking the bank.

Hello, I would not recommend them for regular usage, They are flat sounding speakers, So you may not be able to enjoy them as much as regular bass boosted speakers.

I’ve got the IN8 mk 1’s as a third set of reference monitors. They sound great for the price but they hiss like a pissed off snake.

There are IN-8 V2... why did you choose V1? I've bought V2 one month ago and there is like no hiss. You can hear that in a very very quiet room, but i've heard way worse hisses (for example from Focal) in that price range

Yep, with Bluetooth there will always be a little bit. Like 10-15ms
