Uhm guys not to burst your bubble but it's already possible. You have to change a file. I wouldn't try to vote for a song unless you're completely sure that the other people also have it.

This with Beat saber league would be awesome

Multiplayer brings a whole new fun dimension to the game. It's different than grinding the same level to try to get it perfect. With this, you have to be consistent to win. Plus it forces you to play levels you might not normally play.

I found this out on accident, on quest / quest 2 if you play with someone who has custom songs and you play the same custom song, it actually works, you can play any song as long as you both have the song.

For everyone who doesn't know. You don't need Custom Sabers. In Saber Factory there's a button on the top right corner which says custom sabers. There you can load your saber files

Scoresaber is gonna update in the future for quest and quest 2, so that fixes the online problem. Qosmetics is also gonna update pretty soon, so that solves the custom saber problem
