Checkerboard 60 Technique Sheet Video Tutorial

Checkerboard 60 is a great technique to go along with the Star 60 tool. In the Checkerboard 60 unit, the diamond is made up of four smaller diamonds which really adds sparkle. In addition, this technique gives you 17 different unit sizes to choose from, from 2” up to 18” in 1” increments. If you turn the Star 60 units into hexagons you can make stars from 4” up to 36” which gives you a world of possibilities.

Hi Mary Ann, I'm Cindy in Central Jersey by the beach. I love to check out other quilts shops. What quilt shops are in your area?

Hello! I hope you had a joyful Easter. I have been in my sewing room all day because the grandkids were here yesterday for our Easter feast. Now, I have my feet up, mending my blue jeans and watching you! Very enjoyable video! I hope you have a great week ahead! Thank you for posting and your time.

Virginia here, I guess when I watch the whole video I realize it winds up on the outer edge of the block. I will have to get this tech sheet next time I go to Sager Creek quilt shop. Thanks for the great videos and tools.

Not understanding why the pink one is the outer point. It is surrounded by the triangles so looks like the blue one should be called outer point. By the way, I have most of your tools and love them.
