There is no point of doing that. You still have to stand in queue to check in your luggage where they anyway give you boarding pass and tag your buggage.

@@shubham943 if its a backpack that you can fit in the seat infront of you, then you don't need a tag at all since it's considered as a personal item, but yes it will still be considered as 1 Piece but there is no weight limit (usually). If it's hand-bag then you need to get a tag and weigh it (most airlines accept between 6KG to 8KG).

You can get the ticket and while checking in the luggage you may ask them to change if you are not okay with the seats

some airports have self deposit but here In india u must go to the airline counter as usual.

You can check outside, usually there will be a place to check the weight of bags

Bro it's helpful for many people who are travelling for first time. Maybe you are flying since you were a kid, but everybody is not like you. I took my first flight at the age of 26 and was very much nervous in the beginning. Why are you unnecessarily being oversmart and spreading negativity?
