It's insane how they don't know how to verify if the account is actually yours. It's pretty simple to check if it's an impersonator or not.

it's a good mentality to have. assume they are better or you're are failing at something before any cheating accusation. unless you can properly tell it's cheating right away of course

According to my years of cheater reporting experiences, you need an in-game report plus a manual ticket submission, AND preferably with video proof + steam page in order to get someone 'taken care' of. I highly doubt that BHVR will accidentally ban real Coconut based on a username that can be changed anytime.

@@razerblaze070That is only for in game submitted reports, which people don’t really tend to do since BHVR liked to ignore those in the past. This is why submitting an actual ticket was the go to strat for an actual response.

I believe the same thing happens to SpooknJukes regularly. Some people pretend to be him as Bubba, BM as much as possible, and say foul things in the endgame chat in the hopes they go to his stream and harass him.

For ppl who wondering: I confronted a cheater yesterday who took the trouble to explain to me that a hwid had been released not long ago, allowing its users to bypass reports and bans. so yes, they are back. and we won't be able to free them this time

HWID ban bypasses have been out for every game for decades. It's not rocket science. The reality is anyone with a credit card and $20 can buy and download cheats for any game and ruin games, while bypassing bans. At most they'll need to buy a new copy of the game.

Wondered into a Discord server for game cheats and I thought I'd do some looking around while there. That discord server was selling DBD cheats anywhere from $15 - $50 and posted a link to a website that was selling bundled accounts (something like 50-100 DBD accounts for like $10 - $20 USD).

This one sided war (in terms of aggression) between coconut and hackers is always interesting to watch. Coconut just minds his business and even when finding a hacker just finds ways to make it entertaining for everyone before doing at least the minimum for trying to deal with hackers and then there’s the hackers whose made it their personal goal in life to make Coconuts angry only feeding him content we all enjoy 😂

They almost seemed legit, lol, they're just making you seem like a workaholic. Coconut plays 24 hours a day!

Speaking of cheaters i played against 3 cheaters today that was using unlimited balanced landing/lithe , huge speed boost when running and no scratch mark ... those match were absolutly not fun but i still killed them because they were extremely bad . I hope behavior fix the cheating issue because it gets annoying .

Thats normal for huntress hatchets, there's a big cylinder around every survivors and female survivors have a small body but the same hitbox.

​@@dylanger1015while it's true, hitboxes are sometimes messed up, mostly on the legs, his hitboxes were much larger than the normal ones, which is something actually pretty simple to change if you know how to. look at 4:26 how the hatchet, aimed and sent at the back of his CHEST hits her ~ a meter away. + profile spoofers exists, which are basically a name changer. it's probably what this guy used.

Everyone's correct in that the special effect you described can happen when conditions are right, but that means it happens not that often. This dude here is a cheater because it happens 100% of the time because the hatchet is moving too fast. A lot of his hatchet throws aren't even charged meaning they should be moving at the slowest speed, even addons can't make it move that fast. Hence this explains that odd feeling that the visuals aren't right. Besides, even hatchets from coconutRTS can be dodged when you train enough, orbital strikes are the easiest to dodge when you're aware of it.

There are no wrong bans in the game according to the developers, no one gets banned without solid evidence, and I wouldn't worry about the developers mistakenly blocking your account instead of the cheater's account. After all, the developers have all the stats from every match, so there's no need to worry.

I got in a game with a false "Otzdarva" with infinite head on, making it very obvious, maybe it requires more investigation.

That first hatchet shot reminded me of projectile aimbot from Team Fortress 2, the hatchet was going in a very diff direction, and then it suddenly hit

I saw a hacker a few days ago named otzdarva who was a p100 ellen, knew it wasn’t him just from that and then he head on stunned the killer until they dced 😢

this happend to another streamer as well, their name is gameboyben and someone has/currently is impersonating them as well

This is how you know you've utterly defeated the cheater's morale. They go from trying to mess with your games to trying to get your account banned by impersonating you.

Yeah the amount of cheaters is insane as of late, I tried to play killer before rank reset and had a new Feng have blatant speed hacks but Victorio literally helped me bleed her out since she also had super speed when she was downed (yui thought I was being toxic since she didn't see the hacks)

The good news is you wouldn't get banned in game - even if they have the same steam name, the account in game has a different ID. You should (in theory) be in the clear. It might slander your name, but you should be free from bans.

This why you need to report everyone that you suspect is cheating. BHVR will look into the account that was used in that match and it won't affect other players they try to impersonate.

Hackers are impersonating coco, coco: "content! you give me content and I get yt money!"

they are shadow-running both flower babushka and rose root on top of the displayed add ons at the end game. when you use these programs you are able to stack many perks and add ons together, more than allowed in the slots.

The hatchets seem really fast too.

If you notice at the start of the video for some reason the survivors hit box is a much bigger than it supposed to be.

That was so obvious, tho. 2:12 look at how quick that hatchet connected. It exploded around the hook.

When she shoot at the entrance and miss, it look like a common fps cheater tactic were you pretend to prefire a lot so obviously you are just lucky

I had subtle speedhackers when I was playing unknown the part that wasn’t subtle is that the Two people hacking were playing together one was a p100 Alan and the other was a Meg I reported them , definitely sure they had speedhacks and probably walls as well they tried to hide it with slight increases in speed but any experienced player could easily catch them out , MOST OBVIOUS subtle cheaters

Why would coconut cheat? He has skill.

Even if BHVR were to take action, they would take action on the account that is reported. Just because they changed their name, doesn’t mean your account will be punished. But I’m more so shocked how many people don’t check Steam profiles to verify. It’s not hard to know if someone’s legit or not.

At 6:10 autoaim or "2 tap hack" triggers through the wall and she tries to hide it lol. Looks like everytime she winds up a second wind up follows after it really quick.

i actually went against a coconut huntress hacker 2 days ago. in endgame lobby i saw the name and thought ah makes sense, but in game she had hit a couple mindgame hits that i thought was just lag on top of clunky hatchet hitboxes (also private account and dif profile pic). the second i saw the first hit in the clip i instantly know they were hacking, same kinda clunky hit that doesnt even look close to hitting but does

Another thing is coconut doesn’t use add ons when he plays huntress

I played against someone doing the same thing last night as Ralph while he was only playing Unknown lol

I think it was just a good huntress, the add-ons and perks could explain the reason of the fast hatchets and aura reading

I've played against Coconut several times on ptb and live, and he definitely doesn't cheat. I've even played against someone impersonating him, and it's easy to tell the differece purely by how methodical he plays in comparison.

The only time I use cheats is if I have proof a SWF is using voice comms to cheat. When I detect this I use a cheat that allows me to see all Survivor auras permanently. This isn’t really “cheating” though as I’m simply counterbalancing the voice comms cheat.

There is more of a cool down on that hatchet throw.

Hard shots in my opinion on huntress are the simple ones. The tricky ones or the hyped ones your minds up made your going to follow though make it happen your vision focused on toss spot make or brake, feeling the rush normally always hits.

Every account has a ID associated with it. I doubt they would check it but they really should when it comes to streamers or just anyone to verify that person wasn't being impersonated. Also this made me think it'd be cool if DBD or steam could make a verification system. So if you're a popular youtuber or streamer you could have a verification saying you're the real you-tuber/streamer that no body else could get. So they could check your steam profile and see a check mark knowing you're the real deal. The verification process should be extensive so that if someone where to interpersonte you they would have to have something of yours like your card, bio metrics or something. it's just a idea :)

I've had a match against a Steve who was a ttv and when I looked them up to say good luck, they were playing xeno...Steve then proceeded to obviously cheat (speed, ds with no ds, teleport) and I've got it all on video. I wanted to report it but I was talking to the ttv at the time and they were scared it will get them banned....they were a small ttv too so the cheater was just doing it knowing that ttv couldn't do anything about it.

I'm pretty sure that person was in the stream as well. Notice how after they said "they don't miss", suddenly the huntress is missing some shots?

No wind-up add ons, and they throw that fast? Cheater for sure.

We’re gonna need to start monitoring coconuts game time. From now on no more games past 10pm lol

I am studying psychology in my own time and let me tell you, there are for SURE 1-2 person that contacted you that are the cheaters. They manipulated your mind to scared you because otherwise, you would have never know. Who would assume you are playing with your real name and hacking if it isn’t of the cheater itself ? They could have check the profile and its URL, it was not anonymous.

I met a 100 coconutrts 2 days ago. Really good huntress that gave me hatch, but he wasn’t live. Probably an impersonator, no way to check on console.

For me, one of the major problems with cheating in DBD is that a decent amount of players support the cheaters. Reddit of DBD is a big example. No doubt the most toxic page,if you post anything about cheaters they just delete your post.
