Quake is a game all about timing and knowing exactly where your opponent is, no matter the circumstance. It's natural that, in Quake, having perfect aim, even inhumanly perfect, is not an absolute advantage. Sure, you can beat 80% of players, or likely more than that. The problem is that every Quake pro is in the top 1%. Some of them have been there for over a decade. This is not even sort of the most difficult match of Rapha's career. Not even the best aim of a player that Rapha has come across. Aimbot only works super well on hitscan, and Quake has a number of very solid weapons that are projectile based. Knowing where the enemy is all the time via wallhacks, is not even that big of an advantage either, because the vast majority of the time, Quake pros try to *hear* their opponents first, not see them first. Walls in Quake are temporary barriers, meant to be seen through with your mind. People who hack in Quake fundamentally misunderstand what makes someone good at the game in the first place. Sure, you hit over 85% LG, and well over 70% rail. But can you time items? Can you time projectile attacks? Can you actually evade good projectile aim? If not, then good luck beating someone like Cooller, Evil, Rapha, or Cypher... I can just picture Cypher, in particular, positively dogwalking this hacker, especially on this map. Cypher's rockets are so fucking accurate, this guy would have been shot off of the map or out of the air, like fifteen times.

Playing Quake is hard. In Quake II, I faced aimbot users a couple of times. It is impossible to win against a good player with an aimbot, even though I was a top player. Games would end with scores like 45 to -1. The time limit was the standard 15 minutes. In Quake II, you don't have limited sounds. You can hear all around the map where your opponent is. You become so advanced that you know where they spawn, and by picking up every shard, ammunition, or weapon, you can precisely track their location. Additionally, weapon respawns are every 30 seconds, so you can lock down the main weapons, forcing your opponent to run around with a blaster, and one rail hit is a kill. Quake II was one of the best times I ever had.
