I love to see someone ordering fish and chips the proper way - with tartar sauce! These people who put curry sauce on fish and chips annoy me lol. If you don't like fish, don't order it!

@@Randomanddesperate Haha, there are some great fish and chip shops here in NZ, it's just that I haven't found one that can make chips like they do over there, not sure if it's the type of spud they use or what they are cooked in!! :)

I’m heading to Blackpool in august I’ll definitely have a look at this one and have some fish and chips

Make sure you say you've seen this on random and desperate

salt on first mate then the vinegar washes it down a bit if you do it vinegar first the salt sits on top but them chips do look great mind

Sorry for the last respond it took me agers to work out who send me a super thanks, people like yourself help me carry on with adventure of beening a youtuber as the cost of filming can be espensive, i can carry doing the thing i love best .

One of the best fish and chips shops I've been in for a long time the old fashioned crispy

Hi I tried it a year or two back, as I wanted to try their 20oz fish (no chips), but was disappointed to find it was just two fish put together as they said you do not get 20oz fish. The fish was nice though. The only down side is I would be a bit worried about their 2 (out of 5) Food Hygiene rating of 11/11/22.

Look good that did and bargain price. Has to be vinegar first then salt otherwise the salt is washed away! You don't like mushy peas then mate? Must say I prefer curry sauce with F & C's.

I like how everyone puts salt and vinegar differently, I'm not too keen on mushy peas and yes I would prefer some curry to dip my lovely chips in

Looks gradely, jockey's whips should be golden brown, none of the white shite undercooked rubbish. These look real good, and the fish looks done proper too, didn't eat any of yer chips!!! Will give this a try next time I'm there Chippy Mon really knows his onions.

No I think you'll find with the amount of salt you had it was more chips with salt also it's salt on the fish no vinegar on the fish it distorts the flavour of the batter but salt and vinegar on the chips
