    We have the Winnerwell Nomad View Large and love it. The build quality is worth the price. The fact you can put standard (14") sized wood pieces in it is a very important - you don't have to saw logs smaller to make them fit as you do with tiny stoves. And the Winnerwell doesn't have to be fed wood as often at night. Keep up the great videos!

    Just got my temu camping stove and hot tent to go with it. Really surprised with the quality of both. First time temu users can get $45 off $150 and over. Scored both for $200.

    Just thinking - If I am taking a stove camping (I have the OneTigres), what would be the pros & cons of simply sitting the stove on fire-bricks and not using the legs? Would that add additional heat?

  • @outdoorempirecom

    Good question. I don't think it would ad heat, but it would possible lower the frost ring or keep it warmer near the ground where you're sleeping. Not sure how big a difference it would really make, might need to test it.

    Great perspective! I know winter camping is coming to an end, but have you tried a diesel heater?

    Not yet! Lots of folks have been asking me about them, but I just haven't given it a go and I'm not sure I want to. I kinda like these little wood burners, but we'll see.

    What I’ve seen ppl do, is they bring both. Stove for till it dies out, then turn on diesel heater for all night warmth.

    I wonder how much the price difference really is after u get a better chimney, rain cap, and gloves on the temp compared to the win? Also is there any in between lol?

  • @outdoorempirecom

    @outdoorempirecom

    Ya if you wanted to upgrade the chimney that probably costs a bit. A rain cap/spark arrestor and gloves are pretty negligible. There are some in the middle, but I don't have much experience with them. I've heard good things about Pomoly stoves in general.

    Anything from Temu scares me. It just seems strange that you can buy something so cheap, and you wonder what the actual catch is. I am sure there is NO customer service with the Temu product.

    A fair concern. I haven't needed to reach out to customer service yet, so I'm not sure. But you can get pretty much the same stove on Amazon if you prefer.

    It's called made in China without a price gouging mark up. Most everything is Chinese made these days with American companies marking them way up.

    I just received the small one a few hours ago and it's great, very flame adjustable, I will buy the bigger one once I'm sure about the use I have for it , as to service , My delivery was a day late, as I was in urgent need I cancelled the stove or after Temu made the offer, today the stove turned up as Temu said if it still comes it's mine free, no need to return, I'm a bit impressed with that, so even though I have my doubts I can't give one complaint.

    Honestly mate just roll the dice and place an order. I purchased the same Temu stove but in black and it’s been great. Shipping and tracking was easy. There have been lots of reports of people having Temu just credit delivered product on the house if anything goes wrong .Temu is in a war with Alibaba for purchase volume. Max catch fishing products is a similar thing. They sent me the wrong stuff and just wanted me to keep it all after they sent me the right products for free. Didn’t even want to bother with refunds or sending product back ahaha they just want purchase volume
