The "joystick" one is actually not that "weird" and "terrible". It's designed for people with carpal tunnel syndrome to relieve tension off of your forearm muscles that cause trapping a median nerve

I am indeed wondering if the spinning out of the sensor was more an optical vs laser thing given laser has high lift off and he was moving the mouse back and forth above the table causing the weird spin. No idea what the sensors were so I cant tell you, just seemed like something to consider.

I actually have the mm711 lite, same shape as the regular one but with a less premium sensor and switches. Same shape and PTFE glides tho, got it vir about 17 dollars. Such good value

I'd absolutely love to see TenZ give his opinion on the Xtrfy MZ1 it's one of the fe mice in the world designed for fingertip grip and it very unique with a top quality sensor

You should do a blindfolded/hidden testing where he tests a bunch of well known mice but can’t see his hand

I use the Swiftpoint Z (more features than Tracer), I really like the extra buttons that you can press with the middle of your finger. It also has "deep" click where you can press harder for a different input. The Z also has tilt features for games like Siege where you can tilt just to lean left or right. Expensive, but I can't go without it now having all those buttons and they are not all at the side like MMO mice.

The one where Tenz rated second cheapest is one of the mice that you get on aliexpress or amazon for 5-16 dollars, tricking beginner gamers that "it has rgb" and alot of people fall for it. But in reality its a literal brick with the worse sensor and it doesn't even have rgb, cheap lookin manufacturers thinking that colorful lights = rgb lmfao

probably not better because clicking on time accurately in particular is difficult, generally it takes a long time to get used to at minimum

Razer viper mini is the only one I’ve used and I think it’s really good. Definitely a cheaper one but still love it

Id love to see reviews of actual gaming mice and their switches\sensors for Razer vs Logitech vs Smaller underrated(but good) brands. I learned with mouses that it’s about what your comfortable with. I broke my last cheap mouse so I bought a Logitech mouse, didn’t like it and returned it same day, and a got a razor one with a better shape, still couldn’t get used to it after a week because of the thumb rest, and I eventually just got the same cheap mouse I had before and I’m doing well with it

I just got a new mouse and I can tell a huge difference. It just glides so much better and it allows me to put my DPI lower.
