CO2 is also quite powerful, but it's a lot more expensive to shoot over the long term. Red gas and black gas are heavier and more dense for GBBs, but if you charge the magazine with it in the cold weather make sure you let off most of the gas before you return the gun to storage. They will expand quite a bit at room temperature and could damage or rupture seals if they overpressure the magazine. CO2 capsules won't have that issue in the cold naturally.

Crazy how it’s the highest fps out of them all which is what you want for ranged shooting I can’t imaging spending the money on that gas sniper and then have it jam and break first time using it. For that money I’d expect something that works But I find it’s the case with a lot of gas guns. I had a gas mini uzi and it worked for about 2 weeks and then kept jamming on full auto fire I’d just buy the highest fps spring one I can find regardless of price. Springs are reliable

I bought it in UK for £60, which is about 70 USD. A great, relatively cheap rifle, when paired with 0.4 bbs. Also, you would want to pair it with an at least $35 airsoft scope, with a magnification from x3 and an objective diameter of 40mm. The one I use is 3-9 x 40mm.

Lower end airsoft snipers like that tend to have 2 major issues. First their performance is not consistent from one rifle to the next. You could buy 10 of those m40s and only a couple would give decent results. Secondly whilst it is performing just fine right now they tend to have very short life spans as the parts fail not too long into their life spans. That's not to say they're a bad purchase but you don't buy them for performance you buy them for the external body and then swap the insides out for high quality aftermarket parts.

@@painexotic3757 I'm pointing out to the person asking the question that the cheap m40 isn't likely to perform as well as it seems in this video if you were to buy one. Not all expensive airsoft guns are worth it but the marui for example if you leave it as is from the box will last for a decade where as this will likely last a couple of months. Basically my point is there's a lot more nuance involved than what can be demonstrated in an unboxing and testing. Cheap things tend to be cheap for a reason.

@@qwertyg3666 I dont agree with that lol. I've had cheap spring $15-30 airsoft rifles that I bought from flea markets that lasted for years. Also, the fact that airguns are cheaper, more powerful, and better constructed than airsoft guns should tell you alot about airsoft. I own both airsoft and airguns and all of my airguns have metal parts and were 1.5-3x cheaper than all of it's airsoft counterparts. I think airsoft is only highpriced because companies know they can charge for it since people will buy it anyway.

In his case the gas wasn't powerful enough to operate the bolt it looked like. Green gas is recommended for temperatures above 15°C, below that you should probably try red gas instead which is heavier and more dense. Once it gets closer to freezing temperatures you might need the even heavier black gas. For power, gas snipers are typically going to be the most powerful you can get, shooting 2,5-3J pretty consistently. Excellent range and power, but only allowed on large fields, typically along with an enforced minimum range of 20-30m

hey man ik this is old, (this is also for anyone who bought or is looking at the aac t11, the $220 gun) There is a couple tricky things about this gun. One of which being why the bbs keep falling out of the barrel. I own this gun and love it, and when I first received it I had the same issue. It turns out, that when you have the hop up completely off (or all the wat towards the orange tip of the gun) the bbs would fall out bc there is no rubber (or hop up) to stop it. The simple fix is to just move the hop up a bit to the right (away from the orange tip). Second, when you pull the bolt back, but not all the way to the point of the lock, a bb will slide into the chamber. So when you let go, and then try to pull it back once again, there will then be two bbs in the chamber. This causes one of two things to happen, either one of the bbs falls out of the chamber and you just shot the other out (Good). Or both bbs stay in the chamber and legit just break whne they hit eachother, and now you have yourself a shotgun (Good, or bad, depending on who u are)

I recommend, if your going for a more expensive one, a noveristch ssg. They are great guns and for 450 bucks you can get 3 mags two bottles of bbs and a good scope. And you get a 550fps rifle that consistently hits people at 200+ feet.

The fps that the rifles shoot at doesn't actually make that huge of a difference in accuracy believe it or not. The tokyo marui l96 or whatever that was shooting like 260 was only because it's made in japan where legally they cannot shoot over like 300 (I have no clue what the limit is).

@@stinkybingus_shellshockers fps matters to some extent. It’s more to do with if the gun has a Hop up adjustment. If a gun shoots 400+ fps but doesn’t have Hop up, it’s going to be worse than one that shoots 380 but has hop up However purely talking about the rifles in this video, the $90 is clearly the best option for most people. That gas SVD is cool af, but every gas gun I’ve ever owned always fucks up and breaks, and evidently this one is no different Imagine spending that dollar for that to happen literally out of the box
