I think it is so cool that you leave the parts where your little boy is being a kid in the video and you don't even seem fazed by it in the slightest. I've seen this in a few of your videos. About electric vehicles, I think its funny, how are all these vehicles going to get charged? As of now power plants run of coal, natural gas. So what are those power plants going to run off?

I love the sound of a straight piped V8 and I love the feeling you get while working on cars but the fact that electric cars have 100% torque at the wheels instantly is pretty awesome. My 2020 Chevy Silverado RST which I bought November 1, 2020 has the Midnight Edition and everything is blacked out except the Z71 front fender emblems and muffler tips which are chrome. Yours look good now and may do mine. Just came back to Chevy after many years with Ford and I am 69 but not happy about electric engines but at my age won’t have to worry about it much. Have a daughter 14 and she once said I hope they don’t have electric engines before I can drive and she will be eligible to get learners permit in 6 months. She already knows how to drive though. Thanks for all your videos because I am an old guy who loves cars and always have. Still detail mine and my wife’s. She is 23 years younger and loved cars also.

It's inevitable if we want to keep living on the planet (though I think it's too little too late.) No one said you have to own an electric vehicle, at least not yet. I'm sure one day they'll ban combustion engines from operating on public roads and relegate them to off-road use only before eventually making them illegal to own. I love the combustion engine but I see the writing on the wall.

Your comments on the GM announcement of EV only is the exact reason I just picked up a new 5.3 LT Z71 Silverado. I think that should be a consumer choice and by then they may change their minds in allowing for that but to go all Electric.... nope not me. Chip shortages are hard enough now how about then. Yeah supply will hopefully meet demand by then but still just want there to be that option for burning dinosaurs when the desire applies. EF makes perfect sense for alot of folks just not everyone in my humble simple minded opinion.

I bought the Custom Trail Boss, and I'm the second owner but only 6k miles, and the previous owner did a lot of red trim on all black truck. Supposedly, he got a lot of compliments. I spent the day removing red lettering and stickers ( I'm thinking carbon fiber lettering on tailgate?). Tomorrow, I'm removing the red Chevrolet lettering on the front grill and windshield, but I need a good suggestion on what is under the lettering on grill? What to replace it with? 🤔 The LT has the bow tie, and the custom has the Chevrolet lettering (currently red😬), so any good ideas will be well appreciated 👍

I installed leds behind the lettering and then closed the back to prevent the light from shining inward on the radiator.

@@johnf2884 thats crazy you messaged me that because yesterday I went to 2 places looking for 12v led lights to do exactly that. I took the red lettering off a couple weeks ago and I hadn't thought much about it until Sunday and I thought that the led strip is close to the same thickness. First of all thank you for the suggestion but on the wider parts did you double up the light strip? Or did you just do a single strip for each letter?

@@mrhood3977 kzread.info/dash/bejne/oX6Z1ahuXdvNe5s.html I watched this guys video and pretty much did the same thing. I love being able to change the colors, but if I were to do it again I would just do white. The C and T are a bit dull and can't even see them when my headlights are on. I would suggest putting the led strip like he does in the video so you just see the glow through the letters and you don't see the individual lights.
