Cheap DIY UV Exposure Unit | Build Up 4

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

We all need a Exposure Unit but they are pretty pricey. One thing to do is to Build One on our own. Here's how I was able to build a very low cost exposure unit using a very old table. Very Simple and works perfect with my recent purchase of a 50W UV LED Light and cheap Timer.

Agree. But don't have great power tools. Had to borrow a cheap drill, not good at screwing in screws. Had to drill small holes and screw in the screw by hand with a screwdriver. Haha. The struggle.

Great informative videos brother. I'm just getting into screen printing. I tried the emulsion test today. I'm using ulano qx1. Should the emulsion rub off after it's been exposed or do I have to let it wait till it dries to be able to touch it?

  • @TheInkBuildUp

Thanks. And after you expose it to your light source. You should wash off the stencil right away. Once you wash it out, let it completely dry before you start to set it up on your press.

@@TheImpossibleco yes I think it's the emulsion I use. It's basically the cheapest one. This emulsion, I leave it for more than 24 hours in the screen, it exposes itself. I wish I was able to buy better emulsion but it's like 3 times more expensive. haha. So yea.
