Key Takeaways:
✩ Epoch-based Checkpoint Creation: This feature allows the creation of a model checkpoint at each training epoch, reducing the need for retraining and helping to prevent overfitting.
✩ Assisted Fine-Tuning in Custom Models Program: A collaborative effort with OpenAI's technical team to utilize advanced fine-tuning techniques and hyperparameters for optimizing model performance for specific tasks or domains.
✩ Custom-Trained Model Development: For highly specialized needs, OpenAI offers the development of custom-trained models from scratch, using proprietary data to impart unique domain knowledge and capabilities.

I was not expecting you to say “make your own LLM” 😅 how would you go about doing that?

Correct me if I'm wrong. Wouldn't building out your own LLM be an impossible task for a single person?

In the context of taking this step, having a team would definitely be needed. I bring this up in this video as something to keep in mind. If the software you created is generating substantial income, then by this point, you would have a team of capable engineers. This LLM doesn't have to do everything; it just has to do the things you provide on your platform very effectively.

Where can i find pricing for the fine-tuned models? From what i know a 3.5 fine tuned model has the same price/token as the base model.

is gpt3.5 good enough for invoice processing, if the invoice is input as an image file, do i need the vision capabilities of gpt4?

3.5 is definitely powerful enough to handle invoices. In the context of how to process them in a more cost-friendly way, instead of using a high-level model like GPT-4 to read the image, converting the invoice into raw data for 3.5 to analyze would be the more attractive route.

Well done, good job. I`m always on to your videos. But, it`s about time we start to adress the issues of long exposure to the use of generative A.I. Guys, people, student`s in particular, are getting dumbe and dumber. Beside presenting appearently outstanding academic essays and articles. Should`nt that issue be adressed? I think it`s time. Again, great videos, love it.
