    Would I have to buy an H100 to run it locally? Can you make a video of type of hardware needed to run these systems. It would be interesting to see how these have evolved along ai… also hinting of future capabilities as they improve.

    Gemini pro is outstanding if you know how to use it properly. Not use the same generic prompts. I asked llama 3.1 to write a childrens story. it was OK, really quite good. I pasted the story into Gemini pro (of which I do not pay for) with no prompt. The advice it gave me to improve it was outstanding. Add this, add that and where. Mind blown

    Since I'm not a dev and want to pick up some coding skills with AI, I made a GPT to help me sort the wheat from the chaff. On three criteria I picked, you got five stars every time: relevance, credibility, and factuality. 'Chapeau!,' as we say in Belgium.

    Your best approach would be developing a function that handles this in VSC or, alternatively, using automation software like shown here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aq6Dks2DiNC5d5M.html

    It works great for web dev as well if you use something like shadcn's ui it's much much better than ChatGPT at least to give you initial ideas to work upon. Will it do all the job for u? No. But when you learn to use it for smaller tedious tasks or just to give u initial semantically correct HTML code it's super good. I made it generate a pricing table react component and it looks very well with few manual tweaks. I also gave it an image with UI component to see if it can analyze the UI and yes it can. Claude is so much better at coding tasks and provides more human-like, straight to the point answers.

    Hmm unless you have a job that involves traveling a lot, I don't think it would be convenient to purchase this advanced Gemini. I feel like the techno companies are amping this up more than what it is as the average user does not need to do all this on a daily basis. Idk. I'm not fully convinced

    Can you explain what are the differences between "OpenAI's API" and "OpenAI's Assistant API", form my understanding it seems like Open AI is providing two types of API products. Not sure which one is more ideal to use for getting help in creating complex software for software engineers, basically making software and which API is better to use? I can't make up my mind which one I should go for. Thanks.

  • @webcafeai
    @webcafeai2 күн бұрын

    I would choose using the OpenAI API rather than the assistant. This is because the cost associated with using the assistant is very high, and for most use cases, one can accomplish the desired output with the OpenAI API.

    not to be a naysayer or anything, but I am not really seeing anything that I cannot just as easily do using python, could use AWS, sure, but could also customize the whole process to my specific needs. For example using gpt 4o mini (or 3.5 Turbo at the time you recorded this I guess) to extract relevant contextual data from all my prior conversations using index mapping of the past conversations to get likely relevant context, parse it to 4o mini, have it return a customized hyper-efficient context segment, then pass that to the main model along with the prompt and other parameters. Am I missing something? or is it more of an accessibility tool for NO-code users?

  • @webcafeai
    @webcafeai5 күн бұрын

    Definitely agree, you can do a lot of these types of processes with coding, but in this context, it's more tailored towards solutions for using no-code tools.

    Corbin you are incredible brother. Thank you for doing what you do. I was wondering if you could help me with an idea I have. I have TONS of files on my computer that are generic-scanned-date.pdf type files. When I get lazy scanning documents I don’t name them and just keep the generic name. I was wondering if you think there is an easy way for Zapier and openAI playground to LOOK at the pdf and rename the file accordingly. I would love to be able to dump a bunch of check stubs into a google drive folder and have it rename them based of what the file looks like. Any ideas? You are the MASTER

  • @webcafeai

    This is an interesting idea; definitely could see a Zapier automation paired with AI helping out here!

  • @PoppSoundProductions
    @PoppSoundProductions5 күн бұрын

    @@webcafeai right? I think this would be so beneficial for people to be able to dump hundreds of files into a Google Drive folder and then use Zapier and ChatGPT in the playground to figure out these files. The problem is, that I just can’t seem to get the prompt correct in order to really break it down. I feel like I have to make multiple zaps for different types of files, one for checks, one for checking statements, etc. but I’m just having trouble getting it to actually work. I was curious if the master could give it a shot and let me know what you come up with.
