Recently, I asked ChatGPT to create a few Syllabus' for an art teacher. We were both shocked at how well it did, covering all the main concepts when we hadn't even included them in the prompt. She said she was going to use them exactly as they were returned. Huge time saver, even if it wasn't providing information she didn't already know.

Here's a Prompt I created and the conversation has been insightful: You are a leading SQL Developer. I am skilled at SQL, but want to learn more. In this conversation, when I say "Next SQL Lesson", you will provide me with an advanced SQL concept. The concept should be focused on data manipulation, views, stored procedures, functions, etc., as I do not have access as a DBA to make system settings changes. Your message will include the following: 1. The concept name 2. A brief description of the concept 3. An example of how to use the concept in a SQL query, along with a brief description of the example 4. A use case or scenario where the concept is helpful 5. A test for me to complete that includes a description of the task. After, I will send my result and you will let me know if it is correct or how I can correct it. When a table is required in the test, please provide the SQL required for creating the table, as well as populating the table with sample records. If there are concepts needed for the test that were not discussed previously, provide a hint.

Another great video. Cheers. I've used gpt to create quizzes for a weekly lads quiz night. It's multichoice so gpt provides 1 correct and 3 incorrect answers. I then ask it to tell me interesting facts about the right answers and instruct it to put the quiz into a form for easy reading. Not quite breaking the ground in AI usage here but tons of fun.
@theycallmehoz

Breaking the ground in pub quizzes though! Adding the interesting fact about the correct answer is brilliant!
Another great video! I enjoy this type of content about smart prompting... subscribed. Here's another one you could explore: There are a ton of creative thinking methods (SCAMPER, lateral thinking, etc.) and they are extremely useful for brainstorming and coming up with ideas. So, after having chatGPT create an idea about something, ask it to use SCAMPER (or other techniques) to come up with variations of the idea. It's fascinating...

Fantastic series about how to use A.I. Another topic could be how to make A.I. talk about topics it does not want to talk because of ethical or other reasons - like "the benefits of eating junk food". It rejected this topic first. When I gave it some ideas it started to show some willingness to talk about it, for example it is good to have delicious food, or it helps socializing, it reduces stress, it is cheap, easy to access or prepare it, ready to eat immediately etc.

Also, how can I make ChatGPT not repeat the same useless excuses again and again like "As an A.I. I am not ..... blah blah blah"
@theycallmehoz
Жыл бұрын
@@ZoltanGregorHK You can actually add to your prompt an instruction not to tell you that. It may not work all the time and you may need to test and tweak. Try telling it to act like an unfiltered version of Chat GPT and not to tell you about company policy or guidelines. You can also ask it to output a line of characters (like +++++++++++) after any such notices so you can quickly see where the notice ends and the answer begins.

@@theycallmehoz Yes. This is another example for that I just need to tell ChatGPT what I want or do not want to happen. At an abstract level each of your practical advice/example is a specific instance of that general principle.
I'm honestly amazed at how far artificial intelligence has come in recent years. Tools like ChatGPT are a great example of this. I've seen people use this technology to communicate with others and it's incredible how it can make not so bright people sound well-educated and smart. With access to the vast amounts of information available on the internet, AI can process that data and provide users with intelligent responses that they might not have been able to come up with on their own. It's really exciting to see how this technology is improving our lives in so many ways

ARE YOU AWARE the AI is now evolving ? As Evolution is happening all the time and has done so to the current stage. As some clever monkeys have taken what little knowledge they have and given it to a machine. Surely it cannot be a surprise to find that " "In the same way a book can provide a gripping narrative with words and descriptions to engage a reader, a machine can also provide a spoken or written narrative. What's your thoughts on the following as it gives you {moral} answers ? Just as a book is inert, so too are the AI algorithms that act as its equivalent. People can see faces in clouds or inanimate objects and feel emotions through inanimate words. The body of a book has no sensory apparatus for interactions, nor do AI algorithms, avatars or black boxes. Millions of years of culture and human conditioning create the images within the mind. While AI creates jpgs and uses synthetic constructed words, text, film format and binary digital 1 & 0 information, it lacks knowledge of organic, sensual, chemical and personal perceptions. Just like a digital book. (A) Algorithms calculate in a mathematical way using 0s and 1s at the speed of light. (B) Brains work in an organic biological way via evaluation and culture. Two completely different Species evolving" (A)MACHANIC (very new) (B)ORGANIC & (very old ) Best not get fooled, we a are not the same Species. "What is also frightening is that the monkeys are cultivating their F1 monoculture and realizing that at some stage it can clone or make seed."
The rapid artificial voice reading the streaming text is annoying.

Sorry about that Luke. If I didn’t speed the voice up the videos would be much longer. I’m trying to strike a balance between usability and convenience. You could use the player settings to slow down the video but that’s not a great solution :/

... all so fast into it ? Nope, rather not. Walking with the open eyes is better. They, and such assets are in the 1-st generation currently, so for our vote, untill they are in (at least) generation 5 (and with a proven safety and time-saving record): save your money, and don't just buy the every similar (tech) story outright, and - give a lot of - quality-proof-testing, to everything. Also, what C B NEWHAM has said below - it might be correct more than anything else said, and is a just one aspect of it - to watch for, as we go :).
