Tigers peak was ridiculous. Imagine winning all four majors in a row and holding every trophy at once. To top it off during that run he won the US Open by 15 shots and the British Open at the home of Golf St Andrews. Also the players championship as a cherry on top. When Tiger says he's injured, Tiger really is injured.

Time almost stood still watching him putt standing there greenside Sunday at a major

I've watched Tiger's entire professional career. I've seen just about every great moment of that career as it has happened on my television at home. I'm 39 years old. I will be dead and gone before ANY human being even comes CLOSE to touching his career. That's a pretty good way to sum it all up. I've still got about another 42 years to go if you believe the averages... And it won't even come close to happening while I'm still breathing. Tiger is/was once in a lifetime.

@@seth-co2mv Oh, I love watching Scottie play the game. But he has to stay hot for 11 more years, win a ton more majors and grow the sport in the MAINSTREAM the way Tiger did to reach Tiger's status. It's a tall tall tall task... And Scottie doesn't seem to prioritize that in his life. His family comes first over everything including the game. I'm not sure he'll stick around that long...

It's been a pleasure to watch Tiger's entire career. He was the first golfer that was actually considered an athlete. He changed the game. These young guys who put an emphasis on gym time and athleticism (Brooks, Rory, Bryson, etc) that's all Tiger's influence.

congratulations now do that 9 more times” 🤣😆😂 love the tiger trash talk. Jack Nicklaus is the greatest major champion of all time no question on top of his 18 wins he finished second an incredible 19 times. But he never won a major by double digits. tiger is the greatest golfer to ever walk the face of the earth because if the margin and frequency in which he won these are almost super human statistics and he is also one of the few people that’s internationally recognizable by their first name alone we will never see another And although each iteration of his swing was nearly technically perfect, his fitness is legendary he looked more like a football player than a golfer, and because of that he could hit the ball a mile and so high he could spin his long irons and he’s hit some of the best recovery shots from deep rough nobody thought was possible I once saw him hit a pitching wedge from like 185 from 5-6 inch rough and stiffed it the famous 7 iron at pebble on the par 5 6th is another example, the way he always clutches up being a master of clutching up and manufacturing shots and willing putts into the hole when he needed them, certainly one of the best short games of all time and IMO the best iron player of all time, and he had the intimidation factor but out of all of his great attributes the greatest was the space between his ears he was unflappable he’s not coming back to you, you have to go get him and no matter how big his lead was he was always trying to add to it instead of playing defensively which has cost a lot of great players wins but not tiger he wanted to step on their throats he was a cold blooded killer out their he was a no nonsense guy in his prime 100% tunnel vision into his own little world and he was able to win so early in his career and the 97 masters after shooting 40 on the front Thursday is because he was so mentally tough so young he knew his capabilities and he expected to win right away making Curtis strange eat those words by topping his entire career in a few short years it wasn’t until he came back from the back injury that he became a lot more social and fan friendly you can tell how much that humbled him because he thought he was done a lot of professional athletes crumble under pressure he is one of the rare ones that can harness the pressure and the nerves and all the doubt to get the absolute best from himself he’s cut from the same cloth as guys like Tom Brady and Michele Jordan only difference is tiger didn’t have a team to fall back on he had to do it all by himself. I heard you say his records would take a lifetime to break I’ll take that a step further looking at all the crazy stats tiger has in scoring average, weeks at number one, tied for all time wins, making 142 straight cuts and 25 straight at the masters, taking all that into consideration and more I don’t even think if you gave some of the best hall of famers golfers of all time multiple lifetimes they wouldn’t be able to do what he did
