507001 looks great in its original blue and grey

I will make it a priority to catch 507001 as I never got the chance to get 313201. Still an epic video Simon :)

Great video. Reminds me a lot of 313201, which was a train I used to commute around Brighton fairly regularly. Will miss the PEPs when they’re gone. ~ Daniel

777020 has entered service on the Southport to Hunts Cross Line this morning as the first unit on that line which is the final line for the Class 777s to enter service on

Looking forward to the Glossop line . Since I was young, the Manchester /Hadfield/Glossop triangle has held a great fascination and at last I had the opportunity to travel there last year.

The Retro Merseyrail livery does look great Simon 👍

Looks like a great day, Simon. I don’t miss the BR blue livery much as it just reminds me how drab the railways were when I was young in the 80s! At least privatisation brought colour!

507 001 looks great in retro BR blue livery. It's a shame they weren't able to include the iconic BR double arrow logo on the side of the train, but still nice to see nonetheless. Thank you for sharing Simon.

It might have been nice if at the time of privatisation and the franchise system. They had a stipulation that all trains should still, carry the blue and white livery. And a good piece of tracking down that unit SoT.

The Class 507 “507001” in BR Merseyrail livery does look exactly like the Class 313 “313201” when it was used on the West Coastway Line. Before Southern replaced them with the Class 377/3 3-Car electrostars. Are you going to do Brent Cross West and East Linton.

Can't see it happening being honest, besides 313201 had required a pantograph now (not installed yet) so it can run on overhead lines in the future

Honestly the ticketing system is weird and messed up being honest and even myself cannot puzzle why sometimes, I give you a perfect example, Rugeley Trent Valley to Manchester Piccadilly.... no railcard, a off peak single ticket cost £27.30, Rugeley Town is a extra 3 minutes of a journey £47.30 for a off peak single..... a extra £20 for a extra 3 minutes!
