I triggered a lot of well-meaning people by referring to my Nintendo DSi as a Gameboy. Apologies everyone! And yes, I was running the KORG DS-10+ synth on it.

Thx for the overview!
6:15 dear freaking god. Genius. I've never wanted a pedal so badly. Just get blazed and make ambient music for hours.
When you plugged in the pocket Miku, my soul nearly left my body.
I’m always impressed by how you manage to do so much with just one or two pieces of equipment. I’m still very much having to fight that maximalist urge to do a million things on every track and never finish anything.

That urge is the hardest thing to deal with, I swear. Sometimes I have to remind myself that less is more.

@@Npakaderm for sure. I keep wanting to layer more subtle variations on the synth patch or stack a chord full of extensions and I have to keep reminding myself to scale that back and save it for big moments. Also sometimes sound design can get your perspective skewed. The other month I was trying to make the beefiest saw/PWM patch I could with intermodulating LFO resonance, LFO phase, overdrive, etc, and kept going “no… it needs to be fatter!” Nevertheless I recorded noodling around for 10 minutes, then when I came back to it a couple months later I was like “jeez this is thick as treacle, you can hardly tell the chord as it is, this is plenty fat enough!”
You managed to make something that sounds great very quickly with that pocket Miku. Fantastic work as always!
This seems to be a remarkable pedal, and I really like how you use it. I especially like how you combine it with the voice synth 😄. Thanks David for all your creative work, and for the effort spent on the Decent Sampler. I use it almost daily.
As always, a fantastic review, demo, and video that fills me with the urge to continue creating - especially exploring more sound design elements. You and your channel are a large reason my first synth is the microfreak that I recently got my hands on and have been loving making my own patches for.
Thank you, David! Thank you for every video you have made. You're the only person, who could inspire and encourage me to write music. I love quality and style of your videos. And the way you make beautiful music out of anything is just unbelievable. Keep making the same gorgeous videos! Yet again, thank you!
That was an amazing demo of the pedal and I loved the loop you made ❤
Great video! Yet again I'm in awe of how beautiful the melodies you come up with are. I always think this, whenever you seem to pluck one out of mid air it always makes me think there's no way I could have come up with something so lovely.
Another beautiful arrangement - thank you David!
As always your videos brighten my day, great melodies as always, Bravo!
That's such a beautiful sound. Thank you for your videos and the incredible Decent Sampler.
AWWW YEAH, I was really hoping you were going to do a video on the Mood! Awesome video, fantastic work with the miku part as well, it sounds so cool :3
Lovely demo, it simplified the controls in a way that is easy to understand and showed the musical and creative possibilities of this gem of a pedal, thanks
Whenever you post a new video you make my day. Thank you for the effort you put into these amazing videos!
I've been watching your content since I was 10. Now, I'm 20 and I still watch your content, I love your work, man, and I wish I could be music maker like you. Keep up the good work.😊❤❤
This is a beautiful demonstration of the pedal, thank you 🙏
Your videos are simple but so vivid. The purple MOOD looks pretty under that lighting. It's a great channel, David, keep up the good work.
Great demo. Thanks for sharing. Just ordered mines. Very excited.
I love that final melody....how good to have found you!
amazing job!! i live it so much!!
Really enjoying listening something out of your typical I-IV progression The miku jam was superb man
That way you layered in the Pocket Miku was fantastic! Great video!

What a wonderful video. Thank you!!
I’ve been looking for a whole for a pedal to play ambient sounds. I’ve found it on this video. Thank you!
Beautiful soundscapes!
Thank you so much for this, this video is incredible. I have to get one of those.
You have such a good ear for beautiful melodies!
The little bit with the Miku sounded fantastic! Been wanting a Mood for a long time, I might have to go after one soon.
Mine is in the mail! Thanks for the cool overview!
Man this sounds great!!
Great demo 👍👍 This pedal is awesome 💜💜
Amazing video and pedal!
That's a very sweet melody you came up with there...!
This is so pure ❤
I almost closed the tab with this demo. But then the part with the clock know started. It's just awesome!
This is so amazing
What a lovely piece of equipment!
Those sounds got to me, absolutely gorgeous
My wife and I watched three of your videos. High af she said " this guy is amazing, he's literally American Paddington" and it couldn't be more true. Love your videos!
I do not understand half of the information in videos, but each time the end result is just mesmerizing 🙂.
That design is awesome!
Great sounds thank you 😎
Incredible!❤
Wow that is so beautiful ❤
This was awesome! I would be into a Mood series :)

That's so cool, it looks expensive ASF, but also, extremely worth it. It would be perfect for me because I love making weird experimental ambient stuff.
fantastic. thank you
So awesom!
So much fun!!
0:31 Wow, that manual! Reminds me of my chemistry books (special editions for children and teens) I read with bated breath when I was a teenager. Love the style! 🤩
I’m glad I watched this video before getting one… it saved me a few bucks! Thanks buddy.
That voice pitcher thing with the anime is awesome 👌
Definitely can make some Dark Ambient/Industrial noise with that. That's so damn cool.
Daaaamn this pedal sounds sooo gooooood btw the miku song you made sounded like something porter Robinson would make absolutely amazing . And kevin penkin needs to get on this pedal he will surely make some amazing staff .
Stretch mode works in the same way as granular synthesis. Each one of those slices is referred to as a grain cool to see it applied on a effects pedal!!!
So cool!
Man that Miku voice hit hard, almost cryed fr 6:19, beautiful tones David
Great. Thank you!
Came for the pedal review but looped the video so I could have that melody play over and over.
Magnifique 😍
Gorgeous
Love the two screened Gameboy^^
Really enjoyed the video and the pedal. Is there a video on that cool DIY cigar box style guitar? Would love to see more on that.
Hi! Great video. What camera do you use? asking for a friend
Is there anyway we can get a download of the piece you created? It is beautifully haunting!
You put this together and explained it very well, i watched this on a tablet and the stereo came out very clear and clean, i have a vampire modeling amp and a boss multi so not really in the market for a new pedal at the moment, if one came up on the 2nd hand market i may consider, thanks.
ok that miku segment was beautiful
I love your videos.
This one really surprised me. Thanks for the review. Looking forward to it's availability in Europe. Cannot find it anywhere at the moment.
These pedals are so awesome.....
Just a word to the wise: I’ve had my Strymon Big Sky for 3 years. It does this and more(with the exception of delay). The Cloud setting is amazing. (Research it). Spend the extra $79. You’ll be glad you did.
Your videos are the best! Calm and sounds great. It’s so great that you go to the manual, it reminds me to do the same and not just rely on all the KZread tutorials out there. Bravo to you sir! Keep up the fantastic job.
The midi keyboard.. is all knob need to be fit to a button on your keyboard and then you have the ,knob range, over the keyboard ? Thanks nice video demo !
As someone that plays guitar and keyboard 🎹, I’m definitely interested in this pedal.
This thing is so rad
THIS PEDAL IS INSANNNEEE
The time stretching looper sounds like a granular sampler, like GR-1 tasty chips. Sick
Simply. This is a Radiohead pedal! I hear this pedal screaming, "Eeeeeee-eed!" and wobbly Greenwood guitar!

More like an Ed O’Brien pedal, but surprisingly he doesn’t seem to use any chase bliss on his most recent pedal board build.
wow! that pocket miku through the mood sounds great. could you make that into a decent sampler pack too? i'd defintely become a patreon!
the reverb is exceptional
has there been any latency issues with the pedal and any other chase bliss pedals i wanna get a gen loss pedal
lol the beginning of the miku melody sounds like meltdown, an absolute banger of a vocaloid track
Sounds like a cross between m83 and… someone else I don’t recall the name. Beautiful sounds out of that pedal!
That's not a Gameboy, it's a DS.

Hey David, could I run the Mood pedal through my Kawai es920 piano via midi and use it's speaker system to hear the ambient effects?
Hey Dave. Great video! How would you compare the Mood to the Microcosm? Which would you use for which purposes? Is the sound quality approx. the same or do you have a preference between the two?

Can anyone here compare the two?
Miku voice over 👌 its a great tune you just came out with. Been digging this channel love work David. Its been inspiring and calm
00:45 Very good!
im BEGGING you to make a full/slightly longer version of the Track you made with the Pocket Miku - it is absolutely fire and would love it in my library to listen to but also could see it going viral on tik tok or otherwise
Does anyone know if we can simply use a TRS to MIDI adapter instead of the MIDI box?
Hi David, I'm looking for a new FX, my first out of the box FX. What would you choose if you only could buy one. This one or the Hologram Microcosm? For Revery, Delay and pad stuff and other FX. Like as main FX thing to spice signals up.

Had the Microcosm. It can do some amazing sounds, but it's unpreditable. Also I felt thw sound quality was lacking. Wanted to love it, but sold it. The Mood MKII looks like a better unit imho. May get one soon to try it out.
